Chapter 106

Victoria forced a smile, awkwardly saying, "Just a coincidence, really!"

As they chatted, the boarding announcement came over the speakers, and everyone stood up to leave.

Lyanna, like a little bunny, clung to William's sleeve as they headed to board the plane.

Seeing William leave, Alton insisted on helping Victoria with her luggage.

Unable to refuse, Victoria let him assist her.

On the plane, Victoria and Alton's seats were next to each other, while William and Lyanna sat diagonally across from them.

Lyanna, like a chirping sparrow, kept talking to William.

William listened patiently, occasionally responding with a gentle word or two.

Victoria watched their intimate interaction, a flash of disappointment crossing her eyes.

Alton, seeing William and Lyanna chatting happily, assumed William had lost interest in Victoria.

His previously abandoned thoughts of pursuing Victoria began to stir again, and he became increasingly attentive and considerate towards her.

Victoria felt awkward but couldn't bring herself to continuously reject his kindness, so she excused herself to the restroom to avoid him.

As she opened the restroom door, William's tall, imposing figure suddenly appeared. He leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed, his handsome face stern.

Startled, Victoria took a step back instinctively. "William?"

"Why are you avoiding me?" William's cold gaze bore into her, a mischievous smile playing on his lips. "Afraid I'll eat you?"

Victoria frowned, whispering, "What are you doing? This is an airplane!"

"So what?"

"You..."

Before she could finish, William's long arm shot out, pinning her against the sink. His domineering kiss silenced her protests.

Victoria's eyes widened in shock as she struggled, but William didn't budge.

After a long moment, he released her, his thumb brushing her swollen lips, his gaze locking onto her flushed, angry face. "Didn't I tell you to stay away from other men?"

"I didn't!" Victoria gritted her teeth in defiance.

"Are you sure?" William's tone lifted slightly. "That Alton has been eyeing you quite eagerly."

Victoria's anger flared. "What nonsense are you spouting? We just ran into each other!"

"The truth doesn't matter." William's eyes darkened as he stared at her reddened cheeks, a smirk forming on his lips. "What matters is, I hate the way he looks at you."

"And what about you? What's with Lyanna?" Victoria retorted, her voice cold. "Ella and Alice weren't enough, now there's Lyanna too? Mr. Scott, you sure are busy!"

William chuckled at her anger, his long fingers lifting her delicate chin. "Jealous?"

"Bullshit, why would I be jealous?" Victoria turned her head, avoiding his touch.

"Really?" William laughed softly. "Then why does your tone sound so dissatisfied?"

Victoria had no response, glaring at him before attempting to leave.

William grabbed her, pressing her against the cold sink. "Try running off again."

Victoria slapped his firm arm. "Let go of me, I don't want to deal with you."

William glanced at her puffed-up face, his eyes growing darker. He leaned in closer, his voice husky. "Move again, and I won't mind getting a little intimate right here."

Victoria froze, feeling something pressing against her, disbelief in her eyes. "Are you crazy? This is an airplane."

William's lips curled into a wicked smile. "That's why I told you not to move. I can't guarantee what I'll do otherwise."

"You're a jerk," Victoria spat angrily.

"I can be worse," William's smile grew more sinister as he blew into her ear. "Guess what kind of beastly things I might do?"

Victoria's body stiffened, her breath catching.

Seeing her stop struggling, William slowly lifted her chin, explaining, "Lyanna is my uncle's friend's daughter. She's interning in her senior year, and I needed a secretary. My uncle asked me to take her on for a few months. He's family, so I couldn't refuse."

Victoria eyed him suspiciously, trying to find any hint of deceit on his handsome face.

But all she saw was calmness.

"I'm back in Harborview City because my grandfather wants to see me, and my uncle's family just moved back. I had to meet them, so I brought her along. Nothing more."

William finished, lowering his head to peck her soft lips, chuckling softly. "Victoria, whether you believe it or not, I only desire you. Other women don't interest me."

"You..."

Victoria was about to speak when the restroom door was knocked on. "What's taking so long in there? Are you done yet?"

Victoria's face turned crimson as she glared at William, flustered. "Wait, just a moment."

Victoria quickly fixed her appearance and hurried out of the restroom.

William raised an eyebrow, amused by her hasty retreat, a smile spreading across his face.

As a passenger tried to enter, William casually stepped out, showing no sign of embarrassment, and walked away calmly.

The passenger, understanding the situation, smiled knowingly. "Young man, it's good to have passion."

William smiled back, nodding in agreement.

Victoria returned to her seat, her face still flushed. Alton immediately leaned in, concerned. "Victoria, why is your face so red?"

Victoria coughed awkwardly, mumbling, "Maybe it's too stuffy on the plane."

Alton nodded. "Planes can be quite warm."

"Yeah," Victoria replied absentmindedly.

Passing by, William suddenly chuckled, drawing both Alton and Victoria's attention.

He stood there, looking down at Victoria. "The plane's air conditioning is perfect, and there's a fresh air system. If you're feeling warm, it must be psychological."

Victoria's cheeks burned even more. She knew William was mocking her, but she couldn't argue since he was right.

William glanced at Alton. "You two chat."

With that, he walked away with long strides.

After William left, Alton looked at Victoria, worried. "Victoria, did he bother you?"
