Chapter 117
Victoria shook her head, tears welling up in her eyes. "I'm fine," she whispered.
Her voice was so soft, it was almost like a kitten's meow. William's heart melted a little. He gently wiped away the tears at the corner of her eyes with his thumb. "It's okay, don't be scared," he said softly.
His voice was low and husky, carrying a seductive charm that was incredibly alluring.
Victoria's heart raced uncontrollably. William was her Achilles' heel, and she couldn't resist him at all.
She closed her eyes tightly, her long eyelashes trembling like butterfly wings.
William's throat went dry. His kisses trailed down to her soft, firm breasts, and he gently nibbled and sucked on them.
Finally, he couldn't hold back any longer. With a low growl, he thrust into her, hitting the deepest part.
The intense impact made Victoria's whole body stiffen. She clung to William's shoulders, cold sweat breaking out on her forehead.
Feeling Victoria's tense body in his arms, William lowered his head and whispered in her ear, "Victoria, open your eyes and look at me."
Victoria opened her misty eyes, meeting William's burning, deep gaze. His eyes reflected her blurred face, making her feel even more captivated, as if she were drowning in them.
Their young, healthy bodies intertwined, colliding repeatedly.
Victoria felt like the world was spinning. The pain in her body gradually faded, replaced by a strange tingling and excitement.
They held each other tightly. Victoria felt like she was floating, her soul leaving her body.
Her mouth was dry, and it seemed like there was less and less oxygen in her chest. Her head felt dizzy and swollen, her body trembling uncontrollably.
William's movements became rougher. His large hands gripped Victoria's hips as he thrust continuously. Each movement sent shivers through her, her toes curling up.
William's lips and tongue moved from her nose down to her slender neck, lingering there before continuing downward.
Victoria was overwhelmed by his intense thrusts, her body weak and helpless, relying on him to endure the passion he brought.
After what felt like an eternity, he finally released. His forehead rested against hers, whispering, "Victoria, call me honey."
He loved it when she called him Honey, loved the shy, charming way she said his name, making him want to keep her by his side forever.
Victoria was too exhausted to resist, weakly calling out, "Honey!"
William's heart fluttered. He flipped her over, pinning her beneath him, once again having her.
That night, all the lingerie Victoria had just bought was put to use, leaving her exhausted and asleep.
When she woke up, it was already late morning.
Sunlight streamed into the room, filling it with a warm glow.
She moved slightly, feeling sore and weak.
Lifting the blanket, she saw the stained sheets, a wave of shame washing over her.
What had she done last night?
William emerged from the bathroom, freshly washed. Seeing Victoria still lying in bed, he smirked.
He walked over, sat on the edge of the bed, and pinched her cheek playfully. "What, you don't want to get up?"
"Who doesn't want to get up!" Victoria glared at him, struggling to sit up.
William's smile widened. He leaned down and scooped her up in his arms.
Victoria gasped, wrapping her arms around his neck.
William's deep, pleasant voice sounded, "Alright, let's get you cleaned up and then have some breakfast."
He carried her to the bathroom, squeezed toothpaste onto her brush, and handed her the cup, signaling her to brush her teeth.
Victoria pursed her lips, taking the toothbrush and starting to brush her teeth.
Her movements were slow, too tired to stand steadily.
William supported her, saying, "Let me help you."
Victoria quickly shook her head. "No, no, I can do it myself."
Though she had to treat him like her husband for a month, she wasn't used to such intimate contact.
William didn't insist. He sat on the couch, waiting for Victoria to finish.
He propped his head on one hand, his gaze fixed on her profile.
Victoria was focused on brushing her teeth, her delicate skin tinged with a faint pink.
He watched her intently, a gentle look in his eyes.
After breakfast, as they were about to leave, Victoria hesitated before finally deciding to give him the bag of pajamas.
"For me?" William looked at the pajamas in the bag, a smile tugging at his lips.
Victoria nodded awkwardly. "I just bought them on a whim. If you don't like them, you can throw them away."
She wasn't sure if William would wear them, considering he probably had plenty of pajamas at home.
William opened the bag and took out the pajamas.
He unfolded them, glancing at them with a faint smile. "They look great. I like them a lot. Thanks, babe."
Victoria blushed at his words, quickly gathering her things and running off.
William stood at the door, watching her retreating figure, a satisfied smile on his face.
Victoria arrived at the exhibition center. The main setup was already done, so she started adjusting the details.
As she worked, her phone rang, displaying an unfamiliar number.
Victoria answered, "Hello."
A rich, elegant male voice came through the line. "It's me, Robert."
Robert? Victoria thought for a moment before remembering. Robert was Elara's son, a lawyer.
She responded politely, "Mr. Davis, what can I do for you?"
Robert's tone was serious. "Victoria, you asked me about the lawyer for your father's case. I've found out. His name is Maximus Tate."
Victoria's heart skipped a beat. "Really? Thank you so much."
Robert continued, "I heard from my mom that you're in Harborview City. That lawyer is also in Harborview City. If you have time, you should contact him."
"Really? Where is he?" Victoria asked urgently.
Robert replied, "Maplewood Avenue. His phone number is..."
Victoria quickly jotted it down in her notebook, thanking him repeatedly. "Mr. Davis, thank you so much. When I get back to Silvermist City, I'll treat you to dinner."
Robert chuckled. "Don't mention it. I have other matters to attend to, so I'll hang up now."
Victoria ended the call and immediately dialed Maximus's number.
After a few rings, a clear voice answered, "Hello."
"Hello, is this Mr. Maximus Tate?" Victoria asked.
