Chapter 129
William stared at Victoria's stubborn, restrained expression, feeling an inexplicable anger rise within him.
He walked over and grabbed her chin roughly, his voice harsh as he warned, "You better behave, or when I get tired of you, let's see who'll want you then!"
"Whether anyone wants me or not is none of your business!" Victoria finally spoke, her voice weak, her eyes red and swollen.
He narrowed his eyes and sneered coldly, "You better remember, we're still under contract. If you dare defy me, aren't you afraid I'll take back all the money I gave you?"
Victoria's eyelashes trembled. She looked up at him, biting her lower lip. "If that's what you think, I have nothing more to say."
With that, she lowered her head, unwilling to waste any more words.
Seeing her unyielding attitude, William laughed angrily. "Victoria, you really don't know what's good for you!"
He leaned down and kissed her lips roughly, prying open her teeth with urgency.
Victoria's eyes widened, her pupils contracting.
William showed no mercy, his kiss leaving her lips red and swollen.
She tried to push him away, but he grabbed her wrists tightly.
William let out a cold laugh, increasing his grip. "Victoria, the more you resist, the more I want to take you!"
With that, he flipped her onto the bed.
"William."
Ignoring her, he tore at her shirt, exposing her smooth shoulders.
Victoria pressed her hands against his broad chest, trying to avoid his touch.
"William, don't do this."
He spread her legs, forcing her to kneel on the bed. She twisted and turned, trying to escape his invasion.
Seeing this, William said coldly, "You better behave tonight. My patience is limited."
He then kissed her lips again, ravaging her with intensity.
Victoria felt dizzy from his kiss.
Seeing her dazed expression, William smiled cruelly and removed her last piece of clothing.
The next moment, he entered her without hesitation.
William's movements were forceful.
She bit her lower lip, refusing to make a sound, letting him take what he wanted.
He seemed like a madman, showing no mercy as he tormented her.
Victoria endured his fierce assault, her helpless whimpers the only sound she made.
Her body gradually went limp, lying on the bed, letting William do as he pleased, refusing to beg or resist.
She had long since gotten used to this. She knew better than to expect gentleness from him.
She closed her eyes, tears slowly streaming down her face.
Seeing her tears, William furrowed, his movements suddenly slowing.
Victoria noticed his pause and opened her eyes slightly, meeting his deep gaze.
She stared at him in a daze.
William asked coldly, "Why are you crying? Does being with me make you that miserable?"
With that, he thrust into her a few more times.
Her body tensed instantly.
He shouted, "Scream! Why won't you scream?"
Victoria bit her lower lip hard, refusing to make any sound.
"I'll count to three. If you don't scream, I'll make you stay in this bed all night!"
His tone was icy, devoid of any warmth.
Victoria's tears flowed even more, her body trembling uncontrollably. Her voice was broken. "William, you've helped me many times, and I'm grateful. But I'm only twenty. If it weren't for my dad's accident, I'd still be a student. My first time was with you. We've been together, but do you have to call me a whore every time you're angry? I have feelings, I have dignity too."
As she spoke, her tears flowed like a river, spilling from her eyes.
William was stunned, clearly not expecting Victoria to cry so pitifully.
He frowned, a complex emotion flashing in his eyes. He stared at her small face for a moment, then lost interest and withdrew from her body.
Victoria ran into the bathroom, locking herself inside.
William stood outside, lighting cigarette after cigarette.
The smoke blurred his handsome, devilish features.
Half a pack of cigarettes later, Victoria still hadn't come out.
William kicked open the bathroom door, finding Victoria curled up on the floor, her back against the wall, trembling.
Victoria hugged her arms, refusing to look at him.
He looked down at her, her body covered in marks, her skin cold to the touch.
"You're too old to be sulking like a little girl."
William turned on the shower, washing the marks from her body with warm water.
Victoria's body stiffened. She grabbed his hand on her hip, her voice hoarse. "Get out!"
Ignoring her, William gave her a hot shower, wrapped her up, and put her in bed.
He then found a hairdryer and roughly dried her hair.
His actions filled Victoria with an indescribable sadness and grievance, her tears falling continuously.
Seeing her pitiful state, William sighed, turning her to face him. His deep eyes stared into hers. "Do you really want to be with him?"
He was referring to Samuel, his tone more serious than ever.
Victoria stared at him, trying to understand if he was serious or testing her.
She knew it wasn't just her words that had an effect. William had likely seen the video Ella sent.
Even though Alice had done such things to Lyanna to warn them, he couldn't just give up on her.
Alice was a madwoman.
If they continued their entanglement, who knew what crazy things Alice would do next.
That's why William asked her.
Would she choose to give up her reputation and stay with him, or be with Samuel?
She saw a hint of hope in his eyes. He was waiting for her answer.
This was her only chance.
Victoria thought she would choose the latter without hesitation.
But seeing the hope in William's eyes, she felt a pang of hesitation and struggle.
Even her heart ached a little.
After all their entanglements, now that it was time to sever ties completely, she felt an inexplicable reluctance.
