Chapter 15

Victoria fought like hell, but William's grip was way too strong for her to break free.

Without any foreplay, he thrust into her forcefully, moving recklessly. Victoria's mind went blank from the pain, almost paralyzing her. Her fingertips dug deeply into William's shoulders, tears streaming down her face.

Seeing this, William got even angrier. "Why are you acting all pitiful? Aren't you enjoying this?" His movements got rougher as he spoke.

He gripped her waist tightly with one hand, while the other hand squeezed her buttocks, occasionally slapping them hard.

Victoria groaned in pain but gritted her teeth and took it.

"Victoria, you better behave, and I'll let you go when I'm done!" William threatened, his tone ice-cold.

Victoria bit her lip, holding back any sound, but her eyes were already red and swollen.

Seeing this, William got even angrier. He used all his strength to torment her. Victoria's body convulsed, tears falling like broken beads.

William's breathing got heavier. He picked up Victoria and threw her onto the nearby bed, turning her over so she was facing away from him. He then lifted her butt, making it easier for him to move in and out.

Victoria bit her lip, enduring his assault, already crying uncontrollably.

Looking at Victoria's pale face and fragile figure, William suddenly felt something stir inside him, making him soften for a moment. His movements then became gentler. He turned her over, squeezed her breasts, and slowly massaged them before burying his head in them, his lips and tongue lingering on her chest.

Victoria felt a wave of uncontrollable desire surge through her body, making her both ashamed and in pain. She thought, 'How could I feel this way when I'm being forced?'

William kept smacking Victoria's delicate private parts, sometimes lightly, sometimes heavily, occasionally nibbling on her nipples.

Victoria's body trembled involuntarily. She twisted her waist uneasily, clamping her legs tightly, trying to block William's advances.

Seeing this, William got even more excited. His movements became more vigorous, as if he wanted to completely dominate her.

Victoria fainted several times from his torment. When she woke up, her body was exhausted and in pain. She lay on the bed, staring blankly at the ceiling with empty eyes.

William stood by the window smoking, the smoke lingering in front of the glass. His brows were tightly furrowed, his handsome yet sinister face partially obscured by the hazy smoke, making it hard to see clearly.

He saw Victoria wake up, and his pupils contracted as he quickly put out the cigarette.

Victoria trembled as she picked up the torn clothes on the floor, wrapping them tightly around herself, then put on the crumpled coat. Her eyes were cold, like ice, devoid of any emotion.

Looking at William, Victoria said hoarsely but firmly, "Mr. Scott, no matter what you do to me, I won't change my decision."

William seemed to calm down a bit. Looking at Victoria's stubborn face, he felt a surge of complex emotions.

After a moment of silence, he said coldly, "Fine, since you're so determined, I agree. From now on, we have nothing to do with each other."

Hearing William's words, Victoria felt a mix of relief and an odd sense of loss. But she knew this was the path she had to take. She silently turned around and walked out under William's intense gaze.

William stood there, watching her leave, his eyes filled with deep and complex emotions.

After leaving the Scott Group, Victoria felt like a huge weight had been lifted off her shoulders. She wandered through the busy supermarket, carefully picking out fresh vegetables and fruits.

Thinking of Elara's kindness and support, she decided to cook a special meal for her. Back at her place, Victoria got busy. She laid out the ingredients on the kitchen counter: fresh greens, red tomatoes, plump mushrooms, all looking vibrant and delicious.

She tied on her apron, washed her hands, and got ready to whip up a feast. She skillfully picked up a knife and started chopping vegetables.

Hearing the noise, Elara came into the kitchen and smiled. "Victoria, let me help you out."

Victoria smiled back and said, "Elara, since I'm the one inviting you today, there's no way I'm letting you help."

Elara waved her hand and said, "It's fine. If we do it together, it'll be faster."

Soon, the kitchen was filled with mouth-watering aromas, and a variety of delicious dishes were laid out on the table.

Victoria made several home-cooked dishes: glossy roasted chicken, sweet and sour tomato pasta, colorful beef bourguignon, and mushroom soup.

Elara's face lit up with a smile when she saw the spread, and she couldn't help but praise. "Victoria, your cooking skills are amazing."

Victoria blushed and then invited Elara to sit down and taste her cooking.

Elara sat at the table, tasting Victoria's dishes, and kept praising. "This is really delicious! Your cooking skills are as good as a restaurant chef's."

Victoria laughed and responded, "Oh, you're too kind!"

The two enjoyed the food and chatted happily.

As they ate, Elara sighed, "Victoria, your cooking is so good. I wish my son could taste it. He's a lawyer, always traveling for work. Sometimes it's hard to get him to come home for a meal."

Hearing this, Victoria gently comforted, "Being busy is a good thing for young people; it shows he has ambition."

"That's true, but I still worry about his health and wish he could spend more time with me!" Elara sighed, then asked, "Victoria, I noticed you used to be very busy, often working late into the night. It's not the weekend today, so how do you have time to invite me to dinner?"

Victoria lowered her eyes, hiding the sadness in them, "Actually, I quit my job."

"Quit? That's good!" Elara looked at Victoria with concern and said, "I noticed you always came home late and left early, often looking sickly. Your job didn't treat you well. Look at you, so weak and thin. It's good to change jobs, don't wear yourself out."

Saying this, Elara put some food into Victoria's bowl. "Eat more, you're too thin."

Victoria felt warmth in her heart, and her eyes moistened. "Elara, thank you," she said.

"By the way, what are your plans for the future?" Elara asked with concern.

Victoria hesitated for a moment, then said, "I've reached out to a real estate company. They offer decent pay and don't care much about education. You know, I didn't finish college..."
