Chapter 154
"Mr. Scott."
"Get out!" His voice was thick with sorrow, and his eyes were clouded with despair.
Harry clenched his teeth and backed out, closing the door behind him.
The room fell silent again, with only the sound of William's heavy breathing filling the space.
He closed his eyes, and images of Victoria and Samuel together flooded his mind. The beautiful memories he had shared with Victoria now felt like the sharpest blades, cutting deep into his heart.
He never thought Victoria would leave him so ruthlessly, discarding all their love as if it never existed.
William felt a dull, unbearable pain in his chest as warm blood seeped from the wound in his abdomen.
Ignoring it, he slowly pulled the blanket up over his body, curling into a ball as the warmth of the blood soaked through his clothes and spread out.
Samuel held Victoria's hand as they walked into the room.
The door closed softly behind them, and the atmosphere instantly became intimate and charged.
Samuel looked at Victoria's delicate face, his throat dry and his heart pounding so hard it felt like it might burst out of his chest.
Sensing his intense gaze, Victoria took a small step back, trying to avoid getting too close.
A flicker of disappointment crossed Samuel's eyes, but he quickly smiled brightly. "Victoria, I've waited so long for this day."
His voice was deep and gentle, like a fine wine, intoxicating.
Victoria looked up into his eyes, seeing her reflection and the overflowing love within them.
She parted her lips slightly but didn't know what to say.
Seeing this, a hint of hurt flashed in Samuel's eyes, but he still stepped forward gently, pulling her into his arms, resting his chin on her head as if he were holding the most precious treasure in the world.
"Victoria, if you regret this, it's not too late to stop," Samuel coaxed softly.
Victoria hesitated, then shook her head and whispered, "I don't regret it."
Her answer made Samuel's heart leap with joy.
He held her slender waist tighter, as if trying to merge her into his very being, forever part of his soul.
Samuel's lips pressed against the hair on her forehead, greedily inhaling her unique scent.
Victoria's body stiffened, not daring to move.
Samuel's kisses were hot and lingering, his hands caressing her soft skin, finally resting on her neck, gently stroking, sending shivers down her spine.
Victoria's body tensed further, her breathing deepened, and her eyes filled with a layer of warm tears.
Samuel lowered his head, taking her sensitive earlobe into his mouth, gently nibbling, causing her to tremble.
Victoria's body jolted, and she instinctively pushed against Samuel. "Samuel!"
Her voice trembled, tinged with helplessness.
Samuel ignored her, continuing to kiss and nibble on her earlobe, his tongue slowly parting her lips, seeking her warmth.
His kisses were tender and reverent, treating her like a rare treasure, not wanting to hurt her in the slightest.
But Victoria's heart was filled with conflict and unease. While she felt the intimacy, an invisible barrier kept her from fully giving in.
Her body trembled slightly in Samuel's embrace, feeling overwhelmed by the intensity of his emotions.
With a gasp, Samuel lifted her and carried her to the bed, gently laying her down on the soft, spacious mattress.
He leaned over her, kissing her moist, red lips.
His kisses were as gentle as water, lightly pecking at her lips.
The distance between them was less than an inch, their noses touching, warm breaths mingling.
Victoria lay on the bed, eyes closed, long lashes trembling, breathing uneasily.
Samuel's kisses trailed down her long neck, finally nibbling at her collarbone, causing Victoria to shiver.
Samuel chuckled softly, using his finger to playfully tap her pink nose. "Don't be afraid, sweetheart."
Victoria kept her eyes closed, silent, as if resigned to Samuel's caresses.
Seeing this, Samuel's heart ached. He gently unbuttoned her shirt, revealing her delicate, sensual body.
Samuel's breathing quickened, his large hands caressing her chest through the thin fabric, creating a wave of heat.
Victoria's body arched slightly, showing her inner turmoil.
Samuel's hand slid down her back, finally resting on her slender thigh, his fingers teasing, sparking intimate flames.
Samuel's breathing grew heavier, his gaze falling on her underwear. He swallowed hard, removing his clothes, standing naked before Victoria.
Samuel's body was lean and muscular, his chest broad, six-pack abs clearly defined, exuding male hormones, showing he worked out regularly.
But compared to William, he was still slimmer.
Victoria hesitated, biting her lip.
Hadn't she told herself repeatedly not to think about William anymore?
Why couldn't she control her heart from fluttering because of him?
"Victoria," Samuel murmured, his voice hoarse and restrained.
He slowly leaned down, turning Victoria to face him.
Samuel's eyes were bright and shining, and as he moved, Victoria felt something hard pressing against her softest spot, burning hot.
Staring at her beautiful, pure face, Samuel's lips moved, his voice raspy. "Victoria, is this okay?"
Samuel's words were like a bomb, exploding in Victoria's heart.
Her face turned pale instantly. She struggled to sit up, grabbing a towel to cover herself. "I'm sorry, Samuel, I can't do this!"
Victoria's expression was panicked, almost frantic, tears welling up in her eyes, ready to spill over.
Her reaction made Samuel's pupils contract sharply, his body tensing, throat tightening, a strong desire rising within him, making him want to tear the towel away and take her.
But he couldn't bear to hurt her.
Samuel sighed, climbing off her, struggling to control his emotions, his voice hoarse. "Sorry, I'll go to the bathroom."
