Chapter 173
Not long after, the door to the room swung open, and the woman from earlier sauntered in, swaying her hips.
She looked at the terrified Victoria, a smug, cold smile curling her lips. "Well, look who's awake."
She took a few steps forward, crouched down in front of Victoria, and grabbed her chin, forcing her to look up. "Don't blame me for being ruthless. Blame that pretty face of yours for making Louie lose his mind over you. I worked hard to get into Louie's bed. There's no way I'm letting you ruin it."
The malice in the woman's eyes made Victoria shudder. She gritted her teeth and snapped, "You're nuts! I don't even like Louie."
Before she could finish, the woman, Matilda, slapped her hard across the face, cursing, "Cut the crap! I've been with Louie for three years. Plenty of women have tried to seduce him, but I've never seen him so obsessed with anyone before. You bitch!"
With that, she raised her hand and slapped Victoria again.
The stinging pain brought Victoria back to her senses. She glared at the woman, her voice trembling with anger. "Didn't you say Louie cares about me? Aren't you afraid he'll come after you for this?"
The woman laughed mockingly, looking at Victoria with disdain. "Louie hates dirty people. If I have you raped first, the most he'll do is scold me. He won't do anything more."
She then opened the door and called in a few burly, rough-looking men, who were grinning wickedly. "Here's a treat for you guys. This one's a rare beauty."
The men rubbed their hands together, their lecherous eyes roaming over Victoria.
Victoria felt a chill run down her spine. She struggled with all her might, screaming, "Get away from me! You bastards! Don't touch me!"
"Really?" One of the men rubbed his hands together, eager to start.
Matilda giggled. "Go ahead and have fun. I'll handle Louie."
She tossed a phone to one of the men and instructed, "Turn on the camera and record everything."
The man eagerly took the phone and did as she said.
Victoria's pupils contracted in fear as the men closed in on her. Her heart felt like it was sinking into an icy abyss, and she could barely breathe.
Just when she thought all hope was lost, there was a sudden commotion outside. The door was kicked open, and Louie stormed in with his men. Without a word, he grabbed one of the men by the collar and punched him square in the face.
The man screamed and was sent flying.
Louie glared at him, then picked up a brick from the floor and smashed it against another man's head.
The man's forehead split open, blood gushing out.
Matilda was so terrified she couldn't move, collapsing to the floor. "Louie..."
Paxton brought over a chair, and Louie sat down, crossing his legs casually. He looked at her with eyes as cold as ice. "Who gave you the guts?"
"Louie, I'm sorry! I was wrong!" Matilda hadn't expected Louie to arrive so quickly.
Knowing his temper, she crawled over, resting her head on his leg and pleading, "Louie, I was wrong. I was out of my mind. Please don't be mad. Let me make it up to you."
She didn't care that others were in the room. Her hand trembled as she reached up his leg.
Her wrist was caught.
She looked up, staring at Louie, tears streaming down her face.
His handsome face showed no emotion. He calmly lit a cigarette and brushed off his clothes. "Paxton, lock her up with those men."
Matilda's face turned as white as a sheet. She desperately tried to back away. "No! Louie, please! No!"
Louie didn't spare her another glance.
Hayden stepped forward, grabbing her like a ragdoll and dragging her away without mercy.
Victoria struggled to sit up, looking at Louie. He was watching her with a meaningful smile.
Thinking of Alvin still in his hands, Victoria forced down her fear and anger, trying to keep her voice steady. "Thanks for earlier."
Louie smirked. "Where's your boyfriend? Why isn't he with you?"
Victoria's heart tightened, instantly on alert.
What did he mean by that? Had he figured out William's plan?
She chose her words carefully. "I just went downstairs to get some food. He can't follow me everywhere."
Louie chuckled, his eyes unreadable, his tone teasing. "Because of you, I had to get rid of my only woman. What do you think I should do with you?"
Victoria's eyes widened. She wanted to argue but was wary of his power. She cautiously explained, "I don't even know who she is or what your relationship is. Isn't it a bit unfair to blame me?"
"Unfair?" He laughed. "There's no such thing as fairness in this world."
He leaned closer, staring at her with undisguised desire, his hand slowly caressing her cheek.
Victoria knew resisting was futile and provoking him would be suicidal.
She sat there stiffly, letting his hand slide from her cheek to her neck.
Louie was surprised by how soft and smooth her skin was, his desire to possess her growing stronger.
He leaned in, his breath warm against her ear. "You smell good."
His voice was thick with lust, making Victoria shiver.
Louie suddenly scooped her up, startling her into grabbing his shirt. "Let's play a game. I'll give your boyfriend an hour. If he can show up and take you away, I'll pretend this never happened."
"He's not my boyfriend, just..." Victoria stammered, unable to explain that William was her ex-sugar daddy.
"Just what?" Louie chuckled, a glint in his eye. "A lover?"
Victoria didn't know how to respond, so she stayed silent. She bit her lip and said, "It doesn't matter what he is. He doesn't know I'm in trouble or where I am. How could he get here in an hour?"
Louie smiled wickedly. "The clock starts now."
Victoria's eyes filled with desperation. "You can't do this."
Louie placed her in his black Rolls-Royce, casually reminding her, "Fifty-nine minutes left."
With that, he walked around the car, got into the driver's seat, and drove off.
A few minutes later, the car stopped in front of a luxurious restaurant.
As soon as Louie got out, the restaurant manager hurried over, bowing and scraping, and quickly ordered the staff to clear the place.
