Chapter 63

William wore a custom-tailored white suit that accentuated his broad and upright back. His features were stern, with sharp eyebrows and starry eyes.

His deep eyes, usually indifferent and distant, were filled with infinite tenderness and affection when he looked at Alice in his arms.

Alice, in his arms, was petite and delicate, with shoulder-length hair, smooth skin, and exquisite features. Her almond-shaped eyes sparkled with a captivating charm.

Her face was stunning enough to captivate anyone, and with just one glance, she could bewitch anyone.

Could it be that William ran away from the wedding because of this woman?

Wouldn't Ella be furious with her?

Thinking of Ella's radiant smile before the wedding and then seeing her faint from anger when William ran away, Victoria felt a mix of emotions and couldn't help but sigh.

She admitted that she was somewhat happy to see Ella humiliated, but as a woman, she also felt a bit of sympathy for her.

She knew how much Ella loved William.

To be humiliated by the person you love the most at your wedding, how desperate must that be?

William didn't expect to run into Victoria here. Seeing the IV in her hand and Samuel feeding her strawberries beside her, his handsome brows furrowed.

Alice noticed him stop and followed his gaze, seeing the young girl receiving an IV.

She was wearing a bridesmaid dress with a man's coat draped over her.

She looked delicate and pretty, with smooth skin, exquisite features, watery eyes, and pink lips. She appeared very fragile, like a doll.

However, her chest was full, especially her breasts, which subtly moved with her breathing, looking particularly enticing.

Pure yet seductive, she was the dream woman for any man.

The four of them exchanged glances, and the atmosphere momentarily froze.

Samuel looked at William and discreetly placed his arm behind Victoria, adopting a protective stance.

Victoria noticed but didn't reject it; instead, she leaned closer to him.

William withdrew his gaze, holding Alice as he walked towards Victoria. He glanced at her indifferently and said coldly, "Why are you in the hospital?"

Victoria bit her lip and remained silent for a moment before slowly saying, "Thank you for your concern, Mr. Scott. I just had an upset stomach."

Her attitude was neither humble nor arrogant, as if they weren't very familiar.

William then remembered that she had seemed unwell all day.

He had thought it was because he was getting married, but it turned out she had a stomachache.

Realizing this, he felt he had been assuming too much.

His expression grew colder, and he didn't even bother to look at her again. Holding Alice, he walked past them and continued forward.

Victoria heard Alice in his arms ask him, "Who is she?"

William replied nonchalantly, "She used to be an employee at my company, but she has resigned."

An employee?

Victoria found William's words somewhat amusing.

She endured the twisting pain in her abdomen, tightly pressed her pale lips together, and lowered her head.

Meanwhile, The Garcia Villa was already in chaos.

After Ella momentarily fainted from anger, Willow was about to take her to the hospital for a check-up.

However, Ella returned to The Garcia Villa without saying a word, locked herself in her room, and no matter how much Willow called, she didn't open the door.

"Say something! You're worrying me to death!" Willow paced anxiously outside the door.

She couldn't believe that little bitch Alice had managed to escape from the bodyguards and caused Ella such distress!

Unbelievable!

Alice's mother had given Willow a hard time back then, and now Alice had broken Ella's heart. Did they think they were easy to bully?

When Alice returned, she would definitely teach her a lesson.

Zachary sat on the sofa, his face dark with anger.

His son-in-law had run away from the wedding because of his other daughter. If this got out, the Garcia family's reputation would be ruined.

He was about to order someone to find Alice when the Garcia family's butler reported that Alice had returned.

Willow rushed to the door, ready to scold her, but when she looked up, she met William's cold gaze and was momentarily stunned.

Willow knew William's nature all too well. He was cold-blooded and ruthless, with no heart.

He loved Alice the most, and for others, even Zachary, he didn't care.

She didn't dare to scold anymore and closed her mouth awkwardly.

Zachary sighed when he saw William bringing Alice back.

He felt guilty about Alice's mother. If he hadn't cheated on her with Willow and had Ella, Alice's mother wouldn't have died of depression.

Even though Alice had ruined Ella's wedding, he couldn't bring himself to be angry with her.

"You're back," Zachary greeted calmly.

William responded and led Alice into the living room, sitting her on the sofa and comforting her softly, "It's okay, everything's fine."

Alice nodded, her eyes red as she nestled into his arms. She cautiously said to Zachary, "Dad, I'm sorry. It's my fault for causing you trouble."

As she spoke, tears streamed down her face.

William patted her back, soothing her trembling emotions.

"Alice, you bitch!" A furious shout came from the stairs, accompanied by the sound of high heels on the steps.

Ella stood on the stairs, pointing at Alice and cursing, "You knew today was my wedding with William, but you came back on purpose! You wanted to ruin our wedding, didn't you? You bitch, I'll kill you!"

She rushed forward to hit Alice.

William stood in front of Alice, grabbing Ella's swinging arm forcefully. His cold, harsh gaze swept over Zachary and Willow. "This is my fault. I'll make it up to you."

Ella was so angry that her lungs hurt.

She stared at him in disbelief, her voice sharp as she questioned, "Make it up? How? By having another wedding?"

William didn't answer, and Alice shook her head, sobbing, "I'm sorry, Ella. I can't give William to you. It's my fault. You can hit me or punish me, but please give William back to me. I'll do anything you want."

"You! You!"

Alice's every word was like a knife stabbing into Ella's heart. She suddenly took off her dress, leaving only her underwear, exposing her body to everyone.

She pointed to a scar on her stomach, crying out, "Alice, are you even human? I gave you one of my kidneys to get the engagement with William, and now you want me to give him back? What about my kidney? Will you give it back to me?"
