Chapter 86
Especially William, his face was extremely gloomy, exuding a cold aura.
Alice watched this scene, her eyes showing a glimmer of calculation.
She tugged on William's sleeve and whispered, "William, Mr. Brown is Victoria's boyfriend. If you make too much trouble with him, Ms. Carter will be unhappy."
Upon hearing this, a trace of ruthlessness flashed in William's deep eyes but quickly disappeared.
Victoria also saw William and Alice, especially noticing his gaze, which made her feel instantly stiff.
Sensing her discomfort, Samuel patted her shoulder with a smile and whispered, "Don't be afraid, I'm here. He won't eat you."
The small joke brought a light blush to Victoria's cheeks, making her feel much more relaxed.
William's eyes flashed with cold light as Alice took his arm and led him towards Victoria.
"Ms. Carter, what's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?" Alice feigned concern.
Victoria shook her head and forced a smile, "I'm fine, just a bit sore in my feet."
William glanced at her feet and sneered, "You're always getting sick or injured; it's surprising how fragile you are, given your ordinary status!"
Victoria pressed her lips together, not answering him, but her face turned much paler.
Alice looked at Victoria and pretended to help, "William, why do you always pick on Ms. Carter?"
"I'm just telling the truth. She's not like you, a real lady of high status," William said with a mocking glance at Victoria.
Victoria lowered her eyes, not refuting his sarcasm.
But her slightly trembling hands betrayed her thoughts.
William, what right do you have to belittle me like this! What right!
Samuel noticed her distress and subtly held her tighter, coldly looking at William, "Mr. Scott, everyone is equal. Please watch your words!"
"Ms. Carter, Mr. Brown, don't mind him. Our William speaks harshly but has a kind heart. How's your foot? Do you need to go to the hospital?" Alice asked with concern.
Victoria shook her head and replied softly, "No need, I'll rest for a bit, and it'll be fine later."
"In that case, I'll take you back to your room to rest and apply some medicine," Samuel suggested considerately.
Victoria hesitated for a moment and then nodded lightly.
William's face instantly darkened even more.
Alice smiled brightly, "Then I'll trouble Mr. Brown to take good care of her. I booked a couple's suite for you two, you'll love it."
"A couple's suite?" Victoria exclaimed.
William couldn't hold back, "They're not even married! Book another room!"
Alice pouted, "William, you're being unreasonable. What era is this? What's wrong with couples living together?"
William was about to say something when Samuel spoke, "Victoria, don't worry, I'll sleep on the couch tonight and take care of you."
Victoria wanted to say something, but Alice looked at her with deep eyes, "Ms. Carter, do you have a problem with that?"
Victoria bit her lip and remained silent.
William's face became even more unpleasant.
Alice smiled sweetly, "Alright then, it's decided. Mr. Brown, I'll have someone bring the medicine box and dinner to your room later."
With that, she pulled William out of the hall.
William remained silent, his face exceptionally cold.
Alice clung to his arm, pretending to be gentle as she leaned against his chest, looking like a delicate bird.
She looked up at him and softly said, "William, Ms. Carter has found her happiness, you should be happy for her, right?"
Her voice was gentle, but her tone carried a hint of probing.
William's eyes deepened upon hearing her voice, but he didn't answer.
Seeing this, Alice's lips curled into a smile, "Let's go back to our room."
The room was warm, and Samuel gently placed Victoria on the couch, took off her coat, and poured a cup of hot water, handing it to her.
After drinking a cup of water, Victoria felt much better.
She was about to get up from the couch but was pressed back by Samuel.
"Victoria, you sit here, I'll apply the medicine for you," he said, then turned and went into the bedroom.
A moment later, Samuel returned with a medicine box and a basin of hot water.
He bent down, half-kneeling in front of the couch, carefully taking off Victoria's shoes and socks to wash her feet.
"Samuel, I can do it myself," Victoria said, feeling a bit embarrassed.
Samuel looked up and smiled at her, "I want to be your most loyal knight."
Hearing his joke, Victoria couldn't help but laugh.
Seeing her smile, Samuel's eyes flashed, and he playfully tapped her nose, "Silly girl, you're smiling so sweetly."
Victoria blushed and avoided his hand, lowering her head, not daring to look at him.
Seeing her shy demeanor, Samuel's lips curved into a gentle smile.
Victoria's skin was smooth, her feet delicate and tender, her toes round and full, looking particularly enticing.
Samuel's throat moved slightly, his eyes filled with desire, and his fingers holding the towel turned a bit red.
He cleared his throat, trying to suppress the surge of desire within him, and soaked the towel in hot water, carefully rubbing Victoria's small feet.
His movements were extremely gentle, and Victoria's body gradually tensed.
Although they didn't exchange any words, Victoria could feel his careful care.
Victoria slightly turned her head, looking at the half-kneeling Samuel, his handsome features appearing even more charming under the warm yellow light.
Samuel noticed her gaze, stopped his actions, and turned his head, meeting her eyes.
Victoria quickly looked away, not daring to meet his gaze.
Samuel smiled and wrung out the towel, "All done."
He stood up, took the ointment, and gestured for her to extend her foot.
Victoria hesitated for a few seconds, then extended her foot towards Samuel, letting him carefully apply the ointment.
His long fingers skillfully applied the ointment to her skin, each touch sending a current through her body.
Victoria's body stiffened, not daring to move.
Samuel looked up at Victoria, "Does it hurt?"
Victoria quickly shook her head, "N-no."
Samuel looked at her slightly flushed cheeks and her sexy figure revealed after taking off her heavy coat, his throat burning, and an uncontrollable thought surged in his mind.
Victoria noticed his intense gaze, her heart pounding, and even her ears turned red.
Samuel felt a tingling sensation in his heart, which quickly became uncontrollable.
He raised his head and slowly leaned towards Victoria.
