Chapter 87
The two were very close, so close that their breaths intertwined, and they could clearly hear each other's panting.
Victoria's heart was pounding, as if it was about to leap out of her chest.
Samuel's eyes were filled with intense aggression.
She had never seen him like this before.
Should she accept or refuse?
Victoria closed her eyes, blocking out all distractions, not daring to open them.
Suddenly, there was a rapid knock on the door.
A trace of annoyance flashed across Samuel's brow. He cursed under his breath and got up to open the door.
When the door opened, there was a waiter standing outside with a dining cart.
The waiter glanced inside the room and politely nodded to the two of them, "Hello, your dinner is ready. Please enjoy."
Samuel nodded, stepped aside, and let the waiter in.
When he returned to the room, Victoria had already regained her composure.
Samuel sighed, feeling a bit regretful but also somewhat pleased that Victoria hadn't resisted.
He moved the food from the dining cart to the table and handed a bowl of soup to Victoria.
"Have something to eat first. You've had a long day," he said, his eyes filled with concern.
Victoria didn't refuse and obediently took the bowl of soup, lowering her head to drink it.
Samuel also sat beside her, acting as if nothing had happened.
After dinner, Victoria excused herself to the bathroom to escape the awkward situation.
She leaned on the sink, staring at her reflection in the mirror. Her cheeks were still red, like ripe apples, incredibly enticing.
She touched her slightly warm face, took a deep breath, and forced herself to calm down.
When Victoria came out of the bathroom, she found Samuel sitting on the sofa, drawing with the hotel's pencil and paper.
With a few strokes, he had sketched Victoria's smiling face while skiing, like a Winterberry blooming in winter.
Victoria stared at the sketch, suddenly remembering the oil painting Samuel had given her before. It depicted her just as vividly and happily, like flowers blooming in spring.
Victoria bit her lip and walked over to the sofa, looking down at Samuel.
He glanced up at Victoria, then continued to focus on his drawing.
Victoria gazed at his serious profile, her eyes suddenly welling up with tears.
During this time, Samuel had been so good to her that it made her feel like she was worthy of being loved!
"Why are you crying?" Samuel put down the pencil and looked up at Victoria. "Is the drawing not good?"
Samuel's voice was low and gentle, like the warm and comfortable sunshine in March.
Victoria quickly blinked away her tears, forced a smile, and said, "It's beautiful."
Samuel smiled, reached out his hand, and brushed her bangs away from her forehead, revealing her smooth and full forehead.
Victoria stared blankly at his face, feeling a flutter in her heart.
Suddenly, she thought of William.
If only he could be this gentle.
Samuel seemed to sense Victoria's distraction, a hint of sadness flashed in his eyes, but it quickly disappeared.
He playfully pinched Victoria's delicate nose and said indulgently, "Don't overthink it. You've had a long day. Get some sleep."
"What about you?" Victoria asked hesitantly.
"I'll sleep later," Samuel said, taking a blanket and pillow to the sofa and smiling at Victoria.
Hearing this, Victoria sighed in relief, lay down on the bed, and closed her eyes.
Samuel looked at Victoria on the bed, his eyes dark and unreadable. After a long while, he took a bathrobe and headed to the bathroom.
Victoria suddenly felt unbearably hot in her sleep, as if a fire was burning inside her.
She woke up abruptly, her cheeks flushed, her whole body tender and alluring.
What was going on? Why was she feeling like this?
"Victoria!" Samuel stood at the door, his voice hoarse.
Victoria hurriedly pulled the blanket over herself, her voice trembling, "W-what's wrong?"
"Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere?"
Victoria bit her lip, trying to steady her emotions, "You, you rest first. I'm fine."
"I know you're feeling bad right now. Our food might have been drugged," Samuel explained.
"What should we do?" Victoria panicked, clutching her chest, feeling increasingly unbearable.
She didn't need to guess who did this.
Alice was determined to make her stay away from William.
"Can I come in?"
"No, no!" Victoria responded softly, her voice trembling uncontrollably.
Samuel paused at the door for a moment, but in the end, his rationality couldn't overcome his desire. He pushed the door open and walked in.
Seeing his figure, Victoria blushed even more.
She clasped her legs together, her fists pressed against her knees, her eyes wandering, looking pitiful.
Samuel looked at her, feeling parched.
Victoria bit her lip, feeling her sanity slipping away, a deep desire welling up inside her.
"Let me help you," Samuel said, stepping forward, holding Victoria's cold hand, and pulling her into his arms.
Victoria struggled a few times but ultimately couldn't resist her body's instincts.
Samuel held Victoria tightly, kissing her red lips, prying open her teeth to taste her sweetness, savoring the flavor in her mouth.
Gradually, Samuel's breathing became heavy.
His large hand climbed up Victoria's slender waist.
Victoria let out a soft moan, collapsing into Samuel's arms.
Samuel's long-suppressed desire exploded in an instant, pressing Victoria onto the bed.
"Victoria, I want you," his voice was low, his eyes red.
Victoria, tormented by the drug, was groggy, unable to respond to Samuel's words.
"Victoria, I like you, really like you, more than William," Samuel whispered in her ear, his voice hoarse.
His fingers roamed over Victoria's delicate skin, each touch making her body tremble slightly.
"I know I shouldn't take advantage of you, but I can't control myself. Victoria, please, let me be your man. I'll treat you well, for the rest of my life."
In her daze, Victoria heard Samuel's words, but she couldn't comprehend them.
Samuel leaned down, kissing Victoria's forehead, cheeks, and neck.
Victoria's body writhed, overwhelmed by the surging desire inside her, her head buzzing.
She grabbed Samuel's collar, tilting her small chin, and kissed his lips.
Victoria's initiative thrilled Samuel.
Her actions were like a powerful catalyst for Samuel.
He flipped Victoria over, pinning her beneath him, kissing her passionately.
When her sexy body was exposed to the air, Victoria finally regained a bit of consciousness.
She screamed, using all her strength to push Samuel away, rolling to the side and curling up.
Samuel was hurt by Victoria's resolute attitude, feeling heartbroken.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you," he said, looking at her apologetically.
Victoria's mind was foggy, knowing she couldn't stay here any longer, or the consequences would be unimaginable.
She struggled to get up from the floor, hastily put on her coat, and rushed out of the room.
Samuel watched Victoria's panicked escape, his heart aching as if it was about to break.
Samuel slowly crouched down, holding his head in his hands, in deep pain.
