Chapter 213
Felix was the grandson of his old friend, so Aiden naturally trusted him very much.
What he couldn't believe was the photos he held in his hand, showing that Michael had done such a despicable thing!
Before coming here, Felix had already heard a bit about the recent issues between the Brown Family and the Wilson Family before being sent by his grandfather.
Seeing Aiden so angry now, he was mentally prepared.
"Mr. Aiden Brown, how about I go and gather more evidence? It wouldn't be good if we misunderstood Mr. Michael Brown." Felix replied cautiously.
The investigation results couldn't be wrong; he was mainly worried that Aiden might get so angry that he would fall ill, making it hard to explain to his grandfather.
"Misunderstanding?"
Aiden sighed and shook his head at Felix in front of him, "You don't need to lie to me. Michael is my grandson; I know him well enough. He's just lost his mind. I feel like locking him up and giving him a good beating."
"Mr. Aiden Brown, what should we do now?"
Aiden's gaze fell on the "evidence" in his hand, his eyes red with anger.
Michael had gone too far. Isabella treated him so well, yet he didn't cherish her at all and now got involved with Violet.
He had completely disgraced the Brown Family! He apologized in his mind, 'Oh Isabella, it's my fault you married Michael, that bastard. If you had married Nolan instead, you wouldn't have suffered so much. At least then, you'd still be part of my family.'
After this investigation, Aiden saw clearly what kind of person Michael, whom he had spoiled for over twenty years, really was.
Anyone associated with him would gain nothing.
Since the matter had already happened, the priority now was to resolve it properly.
"Felix, go and arrange to find out where they have been dating recently. Get all the times and places."
Aiden's aura was imposing.
Isabella was the wife he had chosen for Michael, and he had to stand up for her.
Felix had already investigated these matters, "Mr. Aiden Brown, Mr. Michael Brown was called back to the company last night for an urgent matter, so the dating was rescheduled for tonight. Should we follow them?"
"Of course, I wish I could drag that bastard back home and give him a good beating!"
Aiden said with a stern face.
He was so old, yet he had to go out and catch Michael in the act. It was laughable.
But he couldn't care about that now. He had promised Daniel to treat Isabella well, like his own granddaughter.
Now, not only had Isabella suffered for years, but she was also deceived by Michael.
What Isabella couldn't do, he, as her grandfather, would stand up for her and seek justice.
Aiden instructed Felix to arrange for more people to go to the Brown Group and find Michael and that shameless Violet.
He would fire Violet from the company and ban her from ever stepping into Evergreen City again. And then he'd lock Michael up at home and deal with him according to the rules.
Just as Aiden was about to leave, the housekeeper reported that Isabella had returned!
Aiden was stunned.
Isabella had returned?
Even if it was just a few minutes earlier, Aiden would have been excited to personally welcome Isabella, the great contributor to the Brown Family. But now he was about to catch someone in the act.
He couldn't let Isabella notice anything.
"Mr. Brown, should we still go now?" Felix asked cautiously from the side.
"You take the people and wait outside. It won't take long." Aiden said and then went downstairs.
Isabella was carrying the Brown Family's child and had come specifically to see him; he had to show up.
In the hall.
When Isabella appeared with a gift box, Aiden was sitting on the sofa drinking tea. Although he was at home, his particularly formal attire made it seem like he was going out for something.
Seeing that Isabella had really come, Aiden couldn't be happier, "Isabella, you finally came. I've missed you."
"Grandpa, I've missed you too. I hope I'm not disturbing you by coming over suddenly."
Isabella had planned to come in a few days, but Daniel insisted that good news shouldn't be delayed, so she came over with the gift box that Daniel had prepared.
Daniel's intention was for her to come directly to the Brown Family without any further delay.
"Not at all, it's your home."
Aiden pretended to be displeased, "If you keep treating me like a stranger, I'll get angry."
Saying this, Aiden took the gift and let her sit beside him.
"Isabella, tell me, how have you been feeling lately? Are you uncomfortable? You have to be more careful now that you're pregnant. You can't be as active as usual."
Aiden asked urgently, leaving Isabella unsure of which question to answer first.
She couldn't help but feel that Aiden seemed a bit more anxious than usual, even though he was smiling as always.
Normally, he wouldn't ask so many questions right away; he would chat about family matters before asking about her and Michael.
"Grandpa, are you going out? Am I delaying you?"
Isabella asked as she tried to get up, but Aiden stopped her with a smile.
"No, I'm not going out."
Isabella looked puzzled, "But you changed your clothes. Aren't you going out?"
"I changed because I heard you were coming. I'm not going out." Aiden quickly explained.
What he was about to do must not be known to Isabella.
After all, the couple was already talking about divorce. If he brought this up, wouldn't it break them up on the spot?
Fortunately, Michael hadn't made a big mistake yet. Aiden's plan was to catch Michael, give him a good lesson, and make him realize he should live well with Isabella.
Isabella nodded slightly, "I see."
Maybe she was overthinking it. Aiden was just happy about her pregnancy.
"Grandpa Aiden, I came today mainly to apologize. I've had some disagreements with Michael recently, and with my grandfather Daniel's situation not being good, I've been focusing on that. I didn't tell you about the pregnancy in time, and that's my fault."
Hearing Isabella being so understanding and feeling guilty just for not telling him about the pregnancy, Aiden felt even worse.
Aiden sighed deeply, holding her hand and shaking his head, "Isabella, I've never blamed you. You don't need to apologize. You've always been the best wife for Michael in my eyes. No one can replace you."
"All in all, it's all Michael's fault. I'll get him back, and you can punish him as you see fit. I won't plead for him."
Thinking about how Michael neglected the pregnant Isabella at home while entangled with Violet at the company, Aiden wished he could slap Michael awake.
