Chapter 260
Hearing Bianca's anxious voice on the phone, Harper realized she had forgotten to check the time. This was the best opportunity for Bianca to win over Michael.
But right now, she was also in a hurry to deal with Isabella and didn't have time to explain further.
"Bianca, I'll be straight with you. The person you arranged for me couldn't find any more information about Isabella, and she's hiding in the villa and won't come out. And I can't go out. Think of a way to get that bitch Isabella out, and I'll take care of her!"
"Isn't she almost three months pregnant? If I go hard on her, not only will that bastard child not survive, but who knows if Isabella will die along with it."
Harper's plan was exactly what Violet wanted.
She couldn't wait for Isabella and that bastard child to disappear together.
That way, she could have Michael and enjoy everything the Brown Family had to offer without any worries.
If it weren't for Isabella, how could Michael have sent her abroad to endure all that suffering, and even when she returned, she had to use someone else's face.
It was Isabella who caused her to end up like this.
It also caused her family to be forcibly separated, and Harper had to hide in the shadows, unable to see anyone.
So, she wanted Isabella dead more than anyone else.
She had to make Isabella pay for everything she had done.
"Alright, I know what to do, Mom. Just wait for the news."
Violet agreed immediately, and thinking about how Isabella would soon lose her child, she couldn't help but smile.
Thinking about Michael waiting for her in the lounge, Violet quickly said a few words to Harper and hung up the phone.
When she quickly returned to the office, she suddenly saw Aaron standing outside the lounge door.
Violet was furious.
Was Aaron deliberately trying to go against her?
Why was he everywhere she went? Did he have to follow Michael even when he was sleeping?
When she found the opportunity, she would fire him immediately.
Even though she was seething with anger, Violet still maintained a polite demeanor, "Aaron, you're here early?"
As she spoke, she discreetly moved towards the lounge. She didn't believe that Aaron, just an assistant, would really dare to stop her.
"Good morning, Ms. Cooper."
Aaron nodded slightly, his face expressionless, but his body was like a wall blocking Violet's way.
"Aaron, what do you mean by this? Are you trying to stop me?"
Violet pretended not to understand, raising an eyebrow and putting on an air of authority.
"Ms. Cooper, Mr. Brown doesn't like to be disturbed while he's resting. It's better if you don't go in."
Aaron stood still, not giving Violet any chance to enter.
Violet bit her lip and raised the thermos cup in her hand, speaking softly, "I'm just bringing him some water. I won't disturb him, Aaron, you can rest assured."
As she raised her hand to touch the door handle, Aaron, knowing the truth, couldn't possibly let her in.
If Michael found out Aaron let her in, it would be the end of him!
"Ms. Cooper, Mr. Brown doesn't have the habit of drinking water while he's asleep. Please don't make things difficult for me as an assistant."
"Of course, if Mr. Brown wakes up and wants water, I will inform you immediately."
After discovering that Violet was the former "Bianca," Michael had instructed him to never let Violet get an opportunity.
Not even in the company.
He didn't know what Violet had done before he arrived, but now that he was here, he couldn't let Violet get close to Michael.
"Aaron, do you think I'm not qualified to enter Michael's lounge?"
Violet sneered, "Don't forget, my identity was personally acknowledged by Michael. You've seen how much he likes me. In the near future, I will be the mistress of the Brown Family. If you dare to go against me like this, do you not want this job anymore?"
Aaron, a mere assistant, dared to show her attitude. Violet wished she could fire him right now and make him disappear from her sight completely.
But these words might work on others, but to Aaron, they were like air.
After all, he only took orders from Michael. What others said had no power over him.
He stood there calmly, hands behind his back, and spoke lightly, "Ms. Cooper, I need to remind you of a few things."
"First, Mr. Brown has not yet divorced the current Mrs. Brown. Your future is not certain, and your current identity is that of an intern at the company, while I am your superior."
"Second, I have been by Mr. Brown's side for many years and understand his character and way of doing things. He might fire me for my lack of ability, but if it's just because of your words, it's almost impossible."
"Lastly, as Mr. Brown's special assistant, I have the responsibility to manage and take care of his daily life. If you insist on causing trouble here and make Mr. Brown unhappy, you will bear the consequences."
Aaron had been in this position for several years, so he must have some real skills.
Not everyone could be the special assistant to the president, especially Michael's assistant.
It required a keen sense and loyalty to Michael that ordinary people didn't have.
Listening to Aaron, an assistant, describe her as an unreasonable shrew, Violet's face turned pale with anger. "Who do you think you are to criticize me!"
Violet panted heavily, about to step forward and push Aaron away, but the thermos cup in her hand suddenly slipped, making a loud, piercing noise as it hit the ground.
Looking at the mess of water on the floor, it should have been cleaned up by the person who spilled it.
But Violet was now displeased with Aaron, and with her current status, Michael wouldn't let her do such a small task.
So she took a step back, shook the water off her wrist, and looked at Aaron with a mocking gaze.
"Aaron, didn't you just say you would take care of all aspects of Michael's life? Now that the water is spilled, isn't it your duty as an assistant to clean it up?"
Violet crossed her arms, looking down on him.
However, Aaron calmly nodded, "Of course, Ms. Cooper, please step back, and I'll handle it."
Violet squinted her eyes, a mocking smile on her lips.
Aaron, a mere assistant, dared to challenge her.
She walked to the sofa in her high heels, sat down, and raised her proud chin, waiting to see Aaron make a fool of himself.
After all, he had just lectured her.
Did he even know his place?
But in the next second, Aaron's actions made Violet's eyes widen.
He directly made a phone call in front of her, "Maintenance? Send someone to the president's office to clean up. Make sure they're quick."
She had asked him to solve the problem, and this assistant had quite the temper. Calling someone to clean up a bit of water?
