Chapter 30
Her nimble little hand roamed over his well-defined chest muscles, teasingly asking him, "Did Bianca serve you like this last night too?"
Both of them were wearing bathrobes, and the moment their skin touched, it was like an electric shock, causing Michael's breath to quicken.
The room was filled with an ambiguous atmosphere.
Michael grabbed her mischievous hand, his voice hoarse, "She was much more skilled than you."
"Oh, really?" Isabella sneered, her face indifferent.
Michael couldn't stand her nonchalant tone. He leaned over and pressed Isabella beneath him.
His whole body was burning with desire, and he wished he could merge her into his body right then.
His passionate and domineering kiss took her breath away. Just as Isabella was about to break through the final barrier, she wrapped her arms around his neck and whispered softly in his ear. "Michael, I'm on my period."
"Michael, I'm on my period."
She thought, 'Go find Bianca if she's better.'
It was like a bucket of cold water was poured over him, and Michael's desire was instantly suppressed.
Michael's face was dark and stormy at that moment.
His chest heaved violently, angered by her.
He stared at her coldly for a few seconds, then lowered his head and bit her neck hard, his voice low and hoarse, "You better really be on your period."
With that, he quickly got up and moved away from her.
"Or what, are you going to check?" Isabella blinked and asked.
Michael's face turned even darker.
Isabella took out her phone, "Already angry? Didn't you say Bianca was more skilled? Since she serves you better and is the one you like, why not call her over to help you, how about that? Of course, you don't have to worry about my presence. Although we have an agreement, I won't be jealous like before. You can completely pretend I don't exist."
Isabella really intended to hand him over to Bianca.
If it were before, she wouldn't have been able to bear it.
Michael didn't go far, still standing by the bed. His bathrobe was deliberately pulled open, revealing his sexy and strong body.
But his gaze towards Isabella was icy cold.
He sneered, "You really are a qualified wife, pushing me towards Bianca."
He had seen her do such things with his own eyes, which made Michael feel extremely irritated.
He couldn't hold on for even a second.
He grabbed his clothes and slammed the door as he left.
In the large master bedroom, only Isabella was left.
When she heard the sound of the car outside, she finally put away her smug expression and lay weakly on the bed as if all her strength had been drained.
She had no other choice.
But why did her heart hurt so much when she saw Michael leave angrily?
Isabella buried her face in the pillow, breathing in Michael's masculine scent.
Fresh and clean.
She tried not to think about where Michael drove off to and who he went to find, then forced herself to focus on what would happen tomorrow.
.
Before marrying Michael, she was the envy of everyone as the young lady of the Wilson Family. Daniel treated her like a treasure, and her five uncles pampered her like a precious gem.
None of her uncles were interested in business, so she was naturally seen as the sole heir to the Wilson Family's empire.
She used to be bright and proud, with a touch of Daniel's style in her words and actions, passionate and domineering.
In the past three years, her name had suddenly disappeared from the eastern part of Valoria.
Some people secretly gossiped that she was too greedy, not only wanting to take over the Wilson Family but also trying to seize the ownership of her five uncles.
That was why she was stripped of her heir status and exiled.
Some even boldly speculated that she had been assassinated.
Her disappearance was just to cover up the traces.
But no one really knew that in the past three years, she had married Michael.
Michael, who had never had feelings for her in those three years.
Three years later, the Wilson Family faced another crisis. Daniel was in a coma in the hospital, and her uncles were all abroad, each with their own businesses and influence, well-established for many years.
The only one in the country, Thomas, had no interest in inheriting the family business.
He even saw it as a burden.
Many shareholders in the Wilson Group wanted to take that position.
Isabella couldn't help but think of what Daniel had told her.
The Wilson Group's foundation was built by him and a few brothers who had gone through life and death together. Even if it was to be handed over to the next generation, it had to be someone capable enough to command respect.
Only by earning everyone's respect could they go far.
In Daniel's heart, he hoped she could be the sole heir, believing in her ability.
Only she could protect the Wilson Family's empire.
But he also didn't want her to bear too much pressure too early.
It was because of his strict education with Grace that a little bit of tenderness from Indigo had won Grace over.
In Daniel's heart, he hoped Isabella could live happily according to her own wishes.
Not forced to take on the family's responsibilities because of her uncles' reluctance.
So over the years, even though his health was poor, he had always held on to manage the Wilson Group as its president.
Looking at the only photo of Daniel and Grace when they were young on her phone, Isabella felt complicated.
In the photo, Grace was wearing a dress, looking very young. Grace was holding Daniel's arm like a child, sitting on a swing in the garden.
Daniel didn't look as old as he did now. His eyes were sharp, mature, and charming, looking like he was in his forties.
But now, Daniel was lying in bed, unconscious.
His body and energy were no longer what they used to be.
Daniel had only one daughter, Grace, in his life, and he loved her dearly.
She couldn't imagine how heartbroken and pained Daniel must have been to find Grace after searching for so long, only to lose her.
At that time, she could only watch as Harper and Bianca entered the Taylor Family, driving Grace to her death, with Indigo coldly watching from the side.
She would never and could never forget that scene.
She wouldn't let any member of the Taylor Family off.
She knew Daniel didn't want to take action against the Taylor Family back then because he didn't want her to harbor hatred, but now she had grown up and could handle things on her own.
Looking at the photo of Daniel, Isabella softly said, "Grandpa, I couldn't protect Mom before, but this time, I won't let you leave me. Let me protect you and the Wilson Family."
After a long day, Isabella fell asleep on Michael's bed, holding her phone.
When she woke up the next day, she almost missed the time to go to the company.
Fortunately, Chris called and had prepared a suit and speech for her.
Isabella washed her face and sent her location to Chris.
Meanwhile, inside the Wilson Group.
The large conference room was noisy.
Hearing that the Wilson Family's heir, who had been missing for three years, was returning to take charge, everyone was shocked.
