Chapter 34

"Since when does she not know my whereabouts?" Michael, feeling irritated, tugged at his tie. "Since I can't hide it, let's just do what needs to be done."

Aaron immediately understood. "Yes, Mr. Brown. I'll discreetly let Mrs. Brown know about tonight's banquet."

Michael was once again trying to provoke Isabella's sense of crisis.

But he always felt that this method might work once or twice, but over time, wouldn't it make Isabella more likely to leave him?

At 9 PM, the charity banquet was held on the top floor of The Grand Majestic Hotel.

It was said that the last time this floor was reserved was when a royal family from a certain country visited, and the hotel made an exception to allow a two-hour event.

This time, the Wilson Family had reserved the entire evening.

The power behind this was evident.

Because of the high standards here, even the reception staff and waiters were dressed in high-end custom uniforms that couldn't be seen elsewhere, and they had to meet certain appearance and body proportion requirements.

Both men and women wore light blue uniforms, carried themselves elegantly, and behaved appropriately, making them quite pleasing to the eye.

So when Bianca appeared in a light blue evening gown, it was particularly awkward.

The Taylor Family was also an upper-middle-class family, but she rarely attended such events, let alone the top floor of the hotel that was never easily accessible to outsiders.

She had spent nearly a million dollars to choose a dress that would highlight her gentle demeanor.

The color of the dress clashed with the uniforms of the waitstaff, making her feel very embarrassed.

Standing next to Michael, she gritted her teeth, wanting to turn and leave, but she couldn't bear to leave Michael.

Michael didn't say anything.

His gaze didn't linger on her for more than a second.

Michael's appearance caused a huge stir at the event.

Just mentioning the name Michael was enough to send chills down people's spines in Evergreen City.

After a brief speech, the charity banquet began on time.

Everyone instinctively made way for the best seats, and Michael sat down without hesitation, while Bianca shyly took a seat next to him.

Their intimate behavior naturally drew a lot of attention, and some reporters even took out their cameras and started snapping photos.

After all, their relationship had been the subject of speculation before.

This time, Michael bringing Bianca as his date was almost an acknowledgment of their rekindled romance.

Noticing the photographers, Bianca subtly leaned closer to Michael, using the angle to make it look like they were kissing in public.

Strangely, this time Michael didn't stop the reporters from taking photos.

In the past, their relationship was only rumored within the elite circles, and the media didn't dare to reveal anything due to Michael's power and influence.

But today, with Michael's "indulgence," their relationship was now confirmed.

"Michael, I recently applied to be the spokesperson for the Wilson Group's project, but their new CEO removed me. I don't know if I offended her somehow. Can you help me?" Bianca gently tugged at Michael's sleeve, her voice soft and coquettish.

Michael glanced at her, his voice cold. "Do you think I'm close with her?"

"But isn't Aiden..."

"In business, there's no room for personal relationships. The Wilson Group and I are competitors now!" Michael withdrew his hand and leaned back.

"I really didn't know that." Bianca bit her lip and apologized. "Michael, if I had known about the competition between you two, I wouldn't have applied to the Wilson Group. So, is the new CEO of the Wilson Group hostile towards me because she knows about our relationship?"

Bianca didn't say anything more.

She just needed to shift the conflict to the Wilson Group, and Michael would naturally back her up.

"It's just a spokesperson role. I'll have Aaron arrange something else for you." When Michael was a child, he was kidnapped and nearly killed, and it was Bianca who took a fatal blow for him.

This left her physically weak for years.

So as long as she didn't go too far, he would generally accommodate her.

But only with money.

And Bianca was well aware of this, which was why she could repeatedly test Michael's limits.

Her only regret was that three years ago, she didn't use this to successfully sleep with Michael, giving Isabella an opportunity.

But as long as she was around, Isabella would never be able to enter Michael's heart.

As long as she had the patience to wait, becoming Michael's wife was only a matter of time.

After tonight, everyone would know that she, Bianca, was the one Michael loved.

Isabella was just a lowly person, unloved and unwanted.

Isabella was no match for Bianca.

Just like now.

Bianca was sitting next to Michael.

Under the spotlight, Bianca enjoyed the honor of being Michael's date until the auction reached its climax.

At that moment, the smile on Bianca's face instantly disappeared.

It was replaced by shock and anger.

All the flashlights focused on the center of the stage, where a man and a woman slowly walked out from behind the scenes. They were the hosts of the banquet, the Wilson Family members.

Isabella, in a black sequined mermaid gown, walked to the center of the stage, holding Thomas's arm.

She had a strong presence, and the lighting and her dress only accentuated her noble aura as an heir.

Especially the big red diamond necklace on her collarbone.

Just the luster and size of it made everyone present gasp.

Thomas, in an elegant white tailcoat, stood beside Isabella like a noble knight protecting her.

Particularly the way he looked at Isabella, with tenderness and affection.

The two of them standing together looked like a beautiful painting, a handsome man and a beautiful woman, extremely pleasing to the eye.

Sitting in the front row, Bianca was almost blinded by Isabella's nobility, and jealousy and hatred grew wildly in her heart.

Why was it Isabella standing there?

That glory should belong to her.

"Michael, look, isn't that Isabella? How can she be so close with another man, and a member of the Wilson Family at that." Bianca turned her head, and Michael's face instantly darkened.

His whole body exuded an unrestrained hostility.

So, Thomas was a member of the Wilson Family. No wonder Thomas dared to go against him, even insisting on representing Isabella in the divorce case despite his threats.

Seeing this, Bianca was even more furious. Seeing Isabella doing better than her was worse than death.

She bit her lip and said, "Michael, Isabella hasn't officially divorced you yet. Now she's openly appearing with another man. Isn't she blatantly disrespecting you? If this gets out, the Brown Family's reputation will be ruined by her."

Bianca put on a concerned expression for Michael. She didn't believe that Isabella could stay in the Brown Family this time.
