Chapter 35

Bianca said, "Should I go remind Isabella?"

Bianca said as she was about to get up, but Michael's deep voice stopped her, "Leave her be. If she dares to do such a thing, she should know the consequences!"

Michael's eyes were practically on fire.

Isabella had just signed an agreement with him and dared to boldly link arms with Thomas. If he didn't get angry, did she think he didn't exist?

He came here to meet the mysterious heir of the Wilson Group who had offended him.

It turned out to be Thomas.

And he brought Isabella to make an appearance. These two really didn't take Michael seriouly.

Michael clenched his fists.

Seeing Michael's face darken bit by bit, Bianca felt secretly pleased.

This time, she didn't believe Isabella could still compete with her for the position of Michael's wife.

How could a woman as indiscreet as Isabella be worthy of her Michael? In this world, only she, Bianca, was the most suitable woman for him.

Meanwhile, everyone present was speculating about the identities of the two people on stage.

Thomas had considerable influence abroad, and many people recognized him.

"Who would have thought that the famous trader in the financial market, Thomas, is actually from the Wilson Family!"

"But who is that sexy companion standing next to him? Her aura is no less than Thomas's. She doesn't look like someone from the entertainment industry, but her face is stunningly beautiful."

"Could she be a secretly groomed superstar from some entertainment company, taking this opportunity to make an appearance in front of the media? All the top elites are here today; getting to know any of them could make her success."

"Do you think she might be the mysterious lady of the Wilson Family, the only acknowledged heir of the Wilson Family?"

"What nonsense! If she were really the heir of the Wilson Family, how could she not reveal her identity first? Didn't you see the two of them holding hands intimately? It's clearly an ambiguous relationship."

"That's true, but the heir of the Wilson Family is indeed mysterious. She suddenly disappeared for three years and now has taken over the Wilson Group, yet she is too lazy to even make an appearance."

Even though Isabella was standing on stage, everyone seemed to have reached a consensus.

They all believed that the once domineering Isabella in the eastern part of Valoria could not possibly be willing to stand behind Thomas.

And Isabella wouldn't explain.

She had no intention of exposing her true identity.

That would only bring her endless trouble and hassle.

However, her appearance today was to showcase the Wilson Family's prized collection.

It was the big fiery red diamond around her neck, a treasure of unparalleled purity and rarity.

This was also one of the treasures Daniel had left her.

Today, she would auction off this diamond necklace and donate all the proceeds to education and healthcare in remote areas.

The starting price was fifty million dollars.

Isabella personally showcased it.

With the auctioneer's call, everyone suddenly realized that Isabella was just a model displaying the product.

The spotlight fell on Isabella's delicate collarbone, making the red diamond appear pure and dazzling.

"One hundred million dollars."

"One hundred and fifty million dollars."

Each bid made the audience gasp. Many were just watching the excitement, not daring to keep bidding.

"Four hundred million dollars!" Thomas elegantly spoke, wearing gold-rimmed glasses, looking both refined and noble.

Thomas wouldn't let Isabella really auction her treasure to cover the group's internal losses.

It was just a show for outsiders; naturally, he would take it back afterward.

He didn't want Isabella to suffer any grievances.

"Six hundred million dollars!" The bidder was Michael.

Hearing this number, the whole room was in an uproar.

Michael's gaze swept over, provocatively looking at Thomas and Isabella beside him, a disdainful smile on his lips.

He was determined to get the diamond necklace around Isabella's neck.

Seeing Michael's deliberate gaze, Thomas squinted and exchanged a glance with Isabella.

Isabella nodded slightly to him.

Thomas spoke, "Six hundred and fifty million dollars."

"Seven hundred million dollars!" Michael followed closely.

The price had already far exceeded the item's actual value, and others could see that Michael was going head-to-head with the Wilson Family.

They all withdrew from the auction.

The auction continued, and under Isabella's signal, the two men competed fiercely, raising the price of a diamond necklace valued at three hundred million dollars to nine hundred million dollars.

When Michael wanted to bid again, Bianca, trembling with fear, tried to stop him.

That was several hundred million dollars, but to them, it seemed worthless.

Thomas didn't continue.

In the end, Michael won the diamond necklace for nine hundred and fifty million dollars.

The title of charity ambassador came to Michael.

Isabella blinked and decisively took off the diamond necklace around her neck, handing it to the staff, "I never expected Mr. Brown to have such a charitable heart."

How could Michael not see it?

This was a trap set by the two of them to provoke him into buying the item.

A mere few hundred million dollars.

It wasn't something he cared about.

He just couldn't stand seeing Isabella smiling beside Thomas; her smile for Thomas was blinding.

"I wasn't planning to let it go. This necklace should have been yours, but it didn't work out." Thomas whispered to Isabella.

He felt bad but didn't want to go against Isabella's wishes.

He reached out to touch her head as usual, then looked up at Michael, his eyes darkening, his tone mocking. "I'm suprised by Mr. Brown's willingness to help children in impoverished areas. However, I still want to thank you on behalf of the Wilson Group for your nine hundred and fifty million dollar contribution."

With this money, the Wilson Group almost didn't need to touch the company's internal funds to smoothly get through the current difficulties.

Coming up with this brilliant idea, Isabella was indeed remarkable.

Michael's eyes flashed with a dark light, not provoked by Thomas's words.

Instead, he slowly curled his lips, "Just a small amount of money, consider it the Brown Group's contribution to society. But Mr. Wilson, your business hasn't been going well lately, has it?"

Both men wore smiles, but everyone could hear the intense tension between them.

Moreover, Michael's words pointed out the truth.

Thomas couldn't help but frown. He had indeed been held up by his business in the past few days.

His company over there had been frequently reported, and with Eldoria's strict laws in some areas, he had to pull some strings to smooth things over.

At the time, he thought he had unintentionally offended some local power.

Now it seemed that all of this was orchestrated by Michael.
