Chapter 368
No matter what Nolan thought, Bianca didn't care at all.
Ever since that time at the warehouse, she had sworn to herself that she would get Michael.
If she couldn't have his love, she would have him in another way.
"That's right, I need him. It doesn't matter if he doesn't like me. As long as I have his body, he'll never forget me."
"And I want Isabella to see it with her own eyes."
The thought of Isabella's pained expression filled Bianca with glee.
"I don't have much time left. Are you going to help me or not? With or without you, I'm going to get Michael, even if I have to force him."
Bianca's nearly crazed look piqued Nolan's interest.
He didn't care who Bianca slept with, as long as Isabella wasn't hurt. Anyone else was irrelevant to him.
But if it could disgust Michael, it was a tempting idea.
"I can try to help you get him to meet up, but you know the power of the Brown Group. You'd better be careful not to mess up and lose everything."
Michael wasn't someone who could be easily outsmarted.
Bianca scoffed, "The Brown Group? They're powerful, but only within Evergreen City. I have a big boss backing me. Why should I be afraid?"
If it weren't for the protection of that man, she wouldn't have come back so easily, doing whatever she pleased.
It was all thanks to that man.
Michael was nothing to her. At worst, she'd sleep with him and leave. What could happen?
"That's why I'm warning you. The big boss's power can crush Michael, but don't forget, you're his now. If he finds out you're sleeping with another man, and so openly, you know what will happen."
"And my sources tell me Michael is actively searching for you. He can't be up to any good."
Nolan had said his piece. If Bianca insisted, there was nothing more he could do.
He had given his advice; the rest was up to her.
"Don't worry about it. I know what I'm doing."
Bianca didn't care. Whether Michael was looking for her or not, she wanted to see him.
"As for the big boss, he doesn't care who I sleep with. He only wants me."
After all, they had met in that embarrassing situation.
The big boss knew what her body had been through.
Auroria was a chaotic place. For a weak woman to survive, she had to rely on her body.
If she hadn't met the big boss there, she wouldn't have survived three months.
He never mentioned her past, so her virginity was irrelevant to him.
For someone in his position, a person's value was all that mattered.
Even if she slept with other men, the big boss wouldn't abandon her.
And as long as she kept it secret, he wouldn't find out.
"Just help me get Michael. Leave the rest to me."
Bianca raised her glass to Nolan, "You're always worried I'll harm Isabella. Help me with this, and I'll leave the country and never bother you again."
"For our mutual happiness, this must stay secret."
Bianca smiled smugly, exhaling a puff of smoke.
She was already fantasizing about being with Michael.
Nolan frowned. He disliked the smell of smoke. The window was too far, so he opened the door a crack.
The smoke quickly dispersed.
Meanwhile, three middle-aged men in suits stood outside another private room in the hallway.
They seemed to be waiting for someone, pacing anxiously.
"What's going on? Why isn't Mr. Brown here yet?"
"The company spent a fortune to host this at Celestial Dining. The Brown Group can't just ignore us."
The anxious man was Levi Morgan, owner of a cosmetic medical company in Evergreen City.
They had been trying to collaborate with the Brown Group for a long time and finally got a meeting. He booked the most luxurious Celestial Dining to discuss the opportunity.
But they had been waiting for nearly an hour, and no one had shown up.
As a seasoned businessman, he had never been treated like this.
His assistant quickly tried to calm him down.
"Mr. Morgan, please don't worry. We've called the Brown Group many times to arrange this. We can't give up now."
"And they promised Mr. Brown would come. A company that big wouldn't break their word. Think about the $50 million profit we'll make if we sign this deal!"
Levi saw the logic in that.
For $50 million, he could wait another hour.
Seeing the empty hallway, the assistant opened the private room door, inviting Levi inside.
"Alright, let's wait inside."
As the door closed, the elevator at the end of the hallway opened, and out stepped Michael in a charcoal gray suit, accompanied by a female assistant briefing him on the client.
"Mr. Brown, Innovations Group is very sincere. Their new product just launched, and they came to us first. I researched them; they have years of experience in cosmetic medicine and a good reputation."
"Most importantly, their new product's price is fair, even discounted. If we sign, we could gain nearly half the profit."
The assistant listed the project's advantages, but Michael immediately saw the flaw.
"Good quality, good reputation, yet they're giving us all the profit? Why?"
Business was about profit.
No one gave away money. If they did, why bother?
And a small company like theirs would want to profit and gain free advertising by partnering with the Brown Group.
He had never heard of a company willing to give up half their profit for a deal.
