Chapter 387
The man spread his arms wide, showing Michael he was unarmed.
"Relax, Mr. Brown. I'm only here for one thing."
Michael glanced at him briefly, then nodded to his bodyguard.
The bodyguard stepped forward, patted the man down, and then led him to the room where Bianca was being held.
Bianca had woken up but was still tied up. When the door suddenly opened, she thought Michael was moving her to an even scarier place and screamed in terror.
"Don't take me away! Michael, how can you do this to me? How?"
"Bianca!"
The tall man called out to her in a deep voice.
The voice that had been haunting her every day made Bianca freeze the moment she heard it.
How could this be?
How could he be here?
But when Bianca turned around and saw the man, she had to believe her eyes.
The man strode into the room, came to the bed, and extended his hand to Bianca. "I'm here to take you away."
Bianca swallowed hard and cautiously reached out her hand. Feeling the warmth of his touch, she was convinced it was really him!
Overjoyed, she threw herself into his arms, clinging to him as if it was her last chance for survival.
"Baby, it's really you! I knew you wouldn't abandon me. You have no idea how scared I was."
Hearing Bianca's dramatic tone, the bodyguard couldn't help but twitch his face, but the man sitting on the bed remained unfazed, letting Bianca hold him.
He even gently patted her back. "I know. That's why I came to get you myself."
Bianca was well aware of the man's possessiveness, but she was more curious about how he ended up here.
"Baby, why did you suddenly come here? Is something wrong?"
After all, it was nearly a ten-hour flight from his country to here.
Bianca even thought of Nolan's plan but didn't expect the man to say, "You weren't coming back, and I was worried. So I came to get you."
"Thank God, I arrived in time."
Bianca was completely stunned by his words.
Did she hear that right?
This man came all the way here for her.
She knew she still had some hold over him, but given his status and background, how could he drop everything and risk his safety to fly to the other side of the world just to save her?
Could he really be in love with her?
As this thought crossed her mind, Bianca almost wanted to celebrate.
What did Michael matter now? The man she was with now was far superior.
She threw herself into his arms, expressing her love with emotion.
"Mr. Earl Adri, thank goodness you came. Otherwise, I would've been dead."
She felt foolish.
With such a powerful and loving Earl by her side, why did she ever come back to Michael, who didn't love her?
If Earl hadn't taken her back then, she would've died under those disgusting men.
Now that Earl had gone to such lengths for her, what else could she not let go of?
"Earl, take me away. I promise I'll never leave you again. I'll stay wherever you want me to, okay?"
Bianca looked at him with teary eyes. If she didn't leave now, who knew when Michael might go crazy and kill her.
The only one who could save her now was Earl.
She had to hold on to Earl tightly.
"Alright, we'll leave in a bit and never come back here."
Earl agreed without hesitation.
Bianca was almost overwhelmed with happiness. Besides being possessive and a bit cold, Earl met all her requirements.
With his family's backing, as long as she behaved, she would live a life of luxury.
And she could easily escape from Michael. How could she let go of such a good thing?
Just then, Michael arrived outside the door.
He glanced at Earl and Bianca inside, then focused on Earl, speaking in a low voice.
"Mr. Earl Adri, the deal is done. You can leave."
Earlier, he had called Aaron to find out Earl's identity.
Earl Adri, the most capable heir of the Adri Family, and the eldest son of the previous family head, was highly trusted within the family.
He had taken over family affairs at a young age and quickly built his own empire and influence.
"What deal?"
Bianca was stunned. She understood Michael was letting her go.
But he was Michael. He hated her and wanted her dead. Why would he suddenly let her go?
"Earl, what deal did you make with him?"
Bianca instinctively asked Earl.
She wasn't worried about Earl or moved by this. She just didn't want Michael to gain anything from her.
He almost killed her, and now he wanted to profit from her?
How could he have the nerve to do that?
Earl frowned and pulled Bianca close. "This isn't your concern. Let's go home."
"No!"
Bianca's eyes were red as she looked at Michael outside the door. "Why? Michael, why are you still using me?"
She had been the victim all these years.
For him, she willingly stayed abroad for three years to be worthy of him, and what did he do? He married Isabella.
What did he take her for?
She was unwilling to accept this.
Michael's cold eyes narrowed, suppressing his anger.
"Alright, that's it. We should go."
Earl stood up, giving Bianca no chance to speak, and took her away.
Standing by the window, Michael could see the private jet across the way.
Watching Earl lead Bianca onto the luxurious jet, his eyes darkened.
This was his first contact with the Adri Family.
For Bianca, Earl had given him the largest diamond mine in the area?
It seemed too easy, and Michael felt a vague unease.
This mysterious family had initially spent considerable resources to get close to him for the power of the Brown and Wilson Families.
But now they suddenly handed over their interests.
It didn't seem that simple.
Unless, in the eyes of the Adri Family, there was something even more valuable.
