Chapter 45
After Thomas finished speaking, he raised an eyebrow at the reporter, "You don't need me to tell you what to do next, right?"
The reporter nodded repeatedly, not daring to show any disrespect.
Thomas was a man with an undefeated team of lawyers at his disposal.
"Mr. Wilson, is this Michael you're referring to the president of the Brown Group in Evergreen City, Mr. Brown?" A bold member of the media approached and asked in a low voice.
The name Michael sounded familiar, but when associated with a divorce case, it inevitably drew attention.
"That's right!" Thomas responded decisively.
How... how could this be?
The reporters below were stunned, "So, Michael is..."
"Michael is my husband. I'm here today to divorce him. Does anyone know where he is?" Isabella said.
The reporters were too shocked to speak.
The news was too overwhelming for them to process immediately.
But someone still honestly shook their head, "We don't know Mr. Brown's whereabouts."
Isabella spoke to the camera, "Michael, get over here and divorce me. Don't think hiding will solve anything. My patience is limited. If you don't divorce me, be prepared to split half of your assets with me."
Everyone was stunned.
Online rumors had suggested that Bianca was Michael's lover and that Isabella, as the older sister, had seduced Michael.
But now, Isabella's husband was Michael.
So the real person who had ruined Isabella and Michael's relationship was Bianca!
The one playing the bad guy in the middle was Michael.
This was too shocking!
Almost everyone present had more or less cursed Isabella for seducing Bianca's boyfriend, because they believed in Bianca's side of the story.
But they hadn't expected the truth to be a complete reversal.
Whether or not Isabella had been with an older man for money, the fact that Bianca liked her sister Isabella's husband Michael and had deliberately slandered Isabella was now certain.
Bianca's perfect image was thus destroyed.
"Thomas, let's go." Isabella said.
With the spread of this news by the reporters, she didn't believe Michael could stay calm.
They said she ruined Bianca and Michael's relationship, so she would let everyone see who the real intruder was.
Since Michael wouldn't show up today, Isabella wouldn't waste any more time.
She and Thomas got into the car and left.
After Isabella left, many reporters followed her from a distance.
Because someone had just mentioned that Isabella had said yesterday she would kick the Taylor family out like trash today.
With Isabella's terrifying decisiveness, there was bound to be another big drama today.
Isabella was going to kick Indigo and Harper's family out of the house.
Those who heard this were naturally curious and wouldn't question who was so "smart" to bring it up at this time.
About forty minutes later.
The car arrived at the gate of a beautifully landscaped villa.
The house was in a prime location, not far from downtown, with a nearby wetland garden, making it a quiet place amidst the hustle and bustle.
Grace had loved this location so much that she sold her jewelry to buy it.
At the time, Daniel had been completely against Grace marrying Indigo.
After Grace got pregnant out of wedlock, Daniel cut off all financial support, and for the years Grace raised her child, she had been using her money to support Indigo.
Grace had thought her efforts would be rewarded, but in reality, her endless giving only led to more demands from Indigo.
Looking back, she really felt it wasn't worth it for Grace.
Indigo might never have liked Grace; he loved the power and wealth behind her.
Seeing a row of men in black standing outside, Indigo and Harper were too scared to open the door.
Isabella was not polite and signaled her people to take action.
The bodyguards were about to rush in.
Harper, seeing this from the second floor, shouted down in fear, "Isabella, you bitch, what do you think you're doing? This is my house. If you dare touch anything, I'll call the police and have you arrested for trespassing. You'll spend the rest of your life in jail!"
"Then go ahead!" Isabella said lightly, "Let's see who ends up in jail."
Grace had been ill but not completely unaware. This house had been in her name long before Harper and her mother arrived.
She had tolerated Indigo's behavior because he had been honest, but now that they were bullying her and trying to give benefits to Bianca, she wouldn't tolerate this disgusting family for another minute.
"I'll give you half an hour to pack your things and get out, or I'll throw you and your dirty belongings out together."
The black-clad bodyguards behind Isabella spread out in the yard, exuding a strong presence.
Indigo wanted to curse but, seeing those people, felt a chill in his heart and lost his nerve. "Isabella, I'm your biological father. People will call you unfilial if you kick me out. If you really dare to do this, I'll sever our relationship today"
Indigo's words no longer had any effect on Isabella. She said calmly, "Then let's sever it. It's useless to keep it!"
"You!" Indigo was stunned, seeing Isabella's cold expression, and didn't know what to say.
He slammed the door shut.
What a joke. He had lived here for half his life. This was his place. Who dared to make him move if he didn't agree?
When the time was up.
Isabella ordered her people to throw out everyone and everything that belonged to them.
Indigo was so scared he called the police.
Harper called Bianca, asking her to get Michael to come and save them.
But by this time, Michael had already landed in Novaterra, dealing with company projects and thinking about how to get Isabella to drop the divorce.
Aaron had immediately brought the domestic news to Michael.
At the same time, Michael saw Thomas's provocative words on camera, his face darkening.
Unable to reach Michael by phone, Bianca couldn't keep up the act.
She hurriedly left the hospital and went home.
Afraid that if she delayed any longer, she wouldn't even have a place to stay.
The whole building was surrounded. Bianca got out of the car just as the police arrived in response to Indigo's call. She gave her name and followed them inside.
There were so many people that it took her ten minutes to walk a short distance to her house.
Her hair was messy, and she had been touched by people claiming to be her fans. She finally made it into the yard, only to see Isabella leisurely sitting on a swing, playing with her phone.
Next to her, Thomas was peeling fruit for her.
Each had a black-clad bodyguard holding an umbrella to shield them from the sun. Isabella only had to open her mouth to eat whatever she wanted.
Isabella looked every bit the part of a mafia boss.
