Chapter 508
"Mr. Brown, hold up a second."
Aaron, despite his serious injuries, almost tumbled off the hospital bed. He had to warn Michael about the situation.
"Did you forget Nolan's running the Brown Family now? He's got all the manpower. If we rush in, we'll just tip him off and won't be able to do anything."
As he spoke, Aaron seemed to remember something and grabbed his phone to call his girlfriend, Renee.
"Don't worry, I'll get in touch with Renee for more information."
Renee lived in the Wilson house. If something happened to Isabella, the Wilson Family would definitely react.
Hearing this, Michael paused. He knew Aaron was thinking more clearly than he was right now. They needed to know Isabella's situation to act effectively. Otherwise, he'd be running around like a headless chicken, wasting precious time.
Aaron quickly dialed the number, but for some reason, Renee, who usually answered right away, wasn't picking up. Just as Aaron was getting anxious, Michael's phone rang. It was an unknown number, but Michael recognized it. It was the same number that had texted him Isabella's location when she was kidnapped by Bianca.
Michael's eyes widened. He was about to answer when the call abruptly ended. A text message popped up on his phone.
[Isabella's been taken by Nolan. What are you waiting for?]
This message confirmed Michael's suspicions. It was Nolan who had targeted Isabella! If it wasn't Bianca, Isabella might still be safe, but Nolan had other plans for her. If he didn't get to her in time, who knew what that maniac might do?
He had to find Isabella fast. Without caring who the sender was, Michael immediately called the number back. This person had helped him rescue Isabella twice now and couldn't be from the Adri Family. He had a gut feeling this person knew Isabella.
Despite just sending a message, no one answered when Michael called. He had no choice but to text back.
[Who are you? Where is Isabella? I need to save her now!]
This time, the reply came quickly.
[Meet me at the hospital entrance in five minutes.]
Michael was stunned. This person knew his location. Who could it be? But he had no choice but to take the risk. It was the only way to find Isabella quickly.
Closing his phone, Michael turned to Aaron. "How many people from the Brown Family can we get right now? I need them immediately!"
Since taking over the Brown Group, Michael never imagined he'd be ousted from the company. Besides the necessary security for his home and office, he hadn't built a personal team. But he had treated his people well over the years. He believed some would still follow him.
Aaron thought for a moment and looked at Michael. "About a hundred."
"Get them all on standby."
Michael left the rest to Aaron and strode out of the hospital room. Late at night, Michael waited at the hospital entrance for less than two minutes before a heavy motorcycle roared up. The rider braked in front of Michael, clearly the person who had called.
The man, dressed in black, dismounted and walked up to Michael, removing his helmet to reveal his face.
"You."
Michael recognized him immediately. He had seen this man before, during an incident at a lakeside villa with Bianca. This man had been with his grandfather and Isabella.
"So, it's you!"
The man casually adjusted his hair, holding his helmet in one hand and extending the other to Michael.
"Yeah, it's me. Mr. Brown, long time no see. I'm Felix Myles."
The Myles Family? Michael's eyes narrowed. No wonder Aiden had found him so easily that day; he had enlisted the Myles Family's help. But now wasn't the time for grudges. Michael shook Felix's hand, knowing he needed his help to rescue Isabella.
"Do you know where Isabella is?"
Felix pointed to his motorcycle. "To save Isabella, this bike won't cut it. Where's your car, Mr. Brown? We can talk on the way."
Michael's car was nearby. They got in and quickly drove off. Felix didn't wait for Michael to ask and explained his connection to Isabella.
"Mr. Brown, you're curious about my relationship with Isabella, right? Don't worry, we're just friends. She didn't trust Nolan and informed me before meeting him."
"You mean she told you before going to meet Nolan?"
Michael felt a mix of emotions. He knew Isabella's safety was paramount, but the thought of her trusting another man more than him bothered him deeply.
Felix, watching the road, directed Michael to take a shortcut. "Yeah, thanks to Isabella's timely message, my informants saw Nolan taking her away. It's been almost two hours since she disappeared. We need to hurry."
Michael frowned. "You said you had people. It's just the two of us?"
Felix didn't see a problem. "What's wrong with two people? You scared?"
His casual remark made Michael's face harden. He floored the gas pedal. When it came to Isabella, fear was never an option.
