Chapter 70

"From now on, my attorney will handle everything. The Taylor Family will pay back tenfold, a hundredfold, for the pain my mother endured. Enjoy it slowly; I can wait it."

Isabella stood up without hesitation, her eyes filled with a chilling coldness.

What the Taylor Family owed her back then wouldn't be so easily forgiven.

As she pushed open the door, the first thing she saw was a pair of deep, dark eyes.

Michael, dressed in a sharp, iron-gray tailored suit, the same one he wore to the office, stood there quietly. It was unclear how long he had been there.

She had clearly told him not to follow her when she came, but he still came.

As for whom he came for, she didn't need to think much.

One was his first love, Bianca, whom he had cherished for over a decade, and the other was Isabella, who was about to divorce him. Naturally, he came to support Bianca.

Of course, knowing her temper, how could he not come to protect Bianca?

She knew that in his heart, she wasn't even a tenth as important as Bianca, but every time she saw it with her own eyes, it still hurt deeply.

Why did she have to fall in love with Michael, a man she could never truly have?

No matter how many times she was hurt, she couldn't harden her heart.

She thought to herself, 'Isabella, how can you be so foolish? You are the heiress of the Wilson Family, pampered by Daniel and five uncles for over a decade, and the rightful heiress to the Wilson Group. You can't be soft-hearted towards Michael anymore.'

Isabella took a deep breath, her clear eyes meeting Michael's gaze. She no longer concealed her aura and dominance.

She raised her eyebrows slightly. "You must have heard what I just said. Good, it saves me the trouble of repeating myself."

Although Michael had long suspected Isabella's true identity, it was still hard for him to believe when the truth was revealed.

For the first time, he felt the sting of heartache.

She had countless opportunities to tell him her identity over the past three years, but she chose to remain silent.

Even when he confronted her directly, asking who she was, she didn't admit it.

She didn't even want to acknowledge her identity as his wife.

But now, she easily told everyone else, while he, as her husband, had to overhear it from behind a door.

Frustration and anger surged within him, his eyes flashing with red.

"Isabella, you've hidden this from me for three years. Don't you have anything to explain?" Even if it was just a word, he could forgive her for everything.

Isabella, however, smiled coldly. "Michael, don't you think that question is meaningless? Our divorce is certain. What else do I need to explain to you?"

Sensing the extreme anger in Michael's eyes, Isabella only thought he was venting his anger on her because of Bianca.

Even if she just said a harsh word to Bianca, Michael would unreasonably side with Bianca and demand that she apologize personally.

Previously, she valued him too much, making every step difficult.

Now, she wouldn't care about his feelings anymore.

No matter how far he went for Bianca, her revenge on the Taylor Family would not change for anything.

"Michael, I'll see you in court," Isabella looked into his eyes, called his name, and said the last words between them.

Then, she walked past him and left directly.

The door was wide open, and seeing that Michael had really come, Bianca's tears fell as she ran over to cry. "Michael, you're finally here. You heard everything, right? Isabella is really too much. It's bad enough she took our home, but now she wants to destroy my career and my father's company. She's pushing our whole family to the brink. What did we ever do to her? The Taylor Family is her home too. How can she do this?"

Bianca cried while pulling on Michael, her tears hanging at the corners of her eyes, looking pitiful.

But at this moment, Michael was deeply troubled by Isabella's words.

If he had known her visit would cause such a reaction, he would have stopped her.

In the office, she still acted coquettishly towards him, even though he knew it was fake, at least she wouldn't mention divorce.

Now, hearing Bianca crying and complaining in his ear, he only felt annoyed. Just as he was about to shake off her grip, Thomas, dressed in a black trench coat, walked out. Behind him was a lawyer in a sharp suit, Ryan.

Michael frowned, thinking, 'Why are they here too?'

Thomas' gaze fell on the intertwined arms of Bianca and Michael, especially since Michael, knowing Isabella had left, was still entangled with Bianca.

A sharp, cold light flashed in his eyes.

There had been rumors that Michael's heart belonged to Bianca, not Isabella. Seeing it with his own eyes, he realized how difficult Isabella's three years with the Brown Family had been.

He had willingly married her, yet now he protected Bianca in front of Isabella.

If he dared to bully Isabella like this, Thomas would not let it go unpunished.

Thomas' lips pressed into a thin line.

Without a word, he gave Ryan a look, brushed past Michael's shoulder, and strode away to catch up with Isabella.

Ryan, maintaining his professional demeanor, calmly addressed Michael. "Mr. Brown, I am Ms. Taylor's attorney. She forgot to mention something earlier. This house is jointly owned by you and her. She doesn't like these people living here and hopes you can handle it quickly, or it will affect the division of property later."

With that, Ryan left.

He had conveyed Isabella's message accurately; the rest was up to Michael.

With Isabella's declaration to see him in court and the renowned lawyer Ryan following up, Michael's face darkened.

He shouldn't have taken on the trouble of Bianca's family in the first place.

Now he had to deal with these problems.

But the Taylors didn't see it that way. Seeing everyone leave, they approached Michael.

They hoped Michael could help them.

After all, he had promised them the house. How could he go back on his word?

"Isabella, that ungrateful girl, who knows what kind of people taught her to be like this over the years. She has no manners and always wants to make her biological father' lives miserable. What is she thinking? Michael, you should divorce her as soon as possible. Bianca has waited for you for three years. Once you're divorced, you can marry Bianca." Indigo suggested, thinking that once Bianca married into the Brown Family, his company's issues would be easily resolved.
