Chapter 71

Harper quickly chimed in. "Exactly, Michael, Bianca has wasted so many years waiting for you. You can't just abandon her."

As she spoke, Harper gave Bianca a push towards Michael.

Bianca, not missing the opportunity, tried to wrap her arms around Michael's waist. "Michael, are you really going to leave me?"

Just as her hand touched Michael's shirt, Bianca was flung away.

She fell to the ground, looking bewildered. "Michael?"

Michael stood up, his face darkened. "Enough, Bianca. I've already repaid everything I owed you. I don't owe you anything anymore!"

Bianca was stunned, not knowing what to say to win Michael's heart back.

"Michael, I beg you, don't treat me like this. I really love you." Tears streamed down her face uncontrollably. This time, Bianca was truly panicked. She could feel that Michael had no patience left for her.

"You promised me you'd be good to me for a lifetime, that you'd protect me. Do those promises mean nothing now?" At this moment, Bianca felt as if a bucket of ice water had been poured over her.

She had thought that Michael came here for her.

When she was dropped by the Wilson Group, it was Michael who arranged for her to sign with EchoMedia Group, bringing her the best resources.

When Isabella kicked her family out, it was Michael who arranged a place for her to stay and even gave her a house.

She had always believed that Michael liked her.

Otherwise, who would do so much for someone they didn't like?

Now, he was telling her that he didn't owe her anything.

So, was he going to cut ties with her completely and never care about her again?

She could lose everything, but she couldn't lose him.

Michael was her spiritual pillar. Without him, it was no point of all her efforts over the years.

Facing Bianca's relentless entanglement, Michael responded with nothing but a cold stare, "Bianca, you know very well why I helped you. I never said I would marry you, nor did I ever mention liking you. You crossed the line!"

This time, not only did Bianca look ashen, but even the Indigo couple, who had been urging Michael to divorce Isabella, were completely stunned.

Michael's gaze swept over them. He had never been friendly to them, and now, with this incident, his face darkened even more.

"You know what you've done. I advise you not to use the photos to threaten Isabella, or I'll make sure you disappear from Evergreen City. Every bit of suffering she endured back then, you should repay tenfold in pain. From today on, don't let me see you again." Michael couldn't stand it for another minute.

He slammed the door and left.

He didn't know where to find Isabella, and he was afraid that finding her would only provoke her to ask for a divorce.

He could only go to a bar and order the most expensive and strongest drinks.

He drank one glass after another, trying to get himself drunk.

His mind kept replaying memories of Isabella's childhood, the year before she left, small and thin. What had she gone through in the Taylor Family?

Why hadn't he cared for her properly in the past three years, always using Bianca to provoke her?

He had arrogantly thought she married him for the Brown Family's interests and wealth.

He had deliberately neglected her every time she reached out to him.

He deeply regretted that he had done.

At this moment, after Michael left, the Indigo family sat on the ground, staring blankly at the floor.

"What do we do? Michael really won't help us this time. He even sees us as enemies. Why is he protecting that bitch Isabella? We don't even have a backer now," Harper moaned weakly, but no one around her responded"

Bianca was in a daze, thinking about Michael's parting words.

Indigo was spooked, well aware of the formidable reputation of the influential Wilson Family from the East Coast, and he knew he was playing with fire.

Harper was on the verge of madness. She ignored the scene of tearing and fighting with Indigo earlier, grabbed his sleeve, and shook it vigorously. "Indigo, are you deaf? I'm asking you a question. At this point, pretending to be mute won't help. Think of something!"

Indigo pushed her away, annoyed. "At this point, what can I do? We've reached this stage because of you. Bianca doesn't know how to win a man's heart, but you should. If she had gotten pregnant in the past three years, we wouldn't be in this situation. Now, Michael is bewitched by that bitch Isabella. What do we have to fight her with?"

"So what do we do? Just wait to die? Even if it's not the Wilson Family, Michael could end us with a single word."

Harper was about to sit on the ground and wail, but Indigo covered her mouth. "Shut up. Didn't you hear that bitch Isabella wants to ruin our family? Hurry up and pack your things and run. If the Wilsons come, we're really dead."

Harper turned pale with fear. They quickly got up to pack their valuables.

When they tried to sneak out after dark, they were terrified by the sight of two men in black standing outside the door.

Indigo covered Harper's mouth and quickly closed the door.

He sat on the couch, trembling uncontrollably. "It's over. The Wilsons really wants us dead. They've blocked the door."

Harper was too scared to cry, silently sobbing with her mouth covered.

Bianca's face was pale, her hands clenched tightly, her emotions on the verge of collapse.

She had been humiliated by Isabella at the Brown Group in the morning, warned by Michael, who had cut ties with her, and now the Wilson Family was targeting her family.

In one night, she had lost everything.

And it was all because of Isabella.

However, She couldn't just give up.

She thought to herself, 'Isabella is just a woman who has been kicked out of her home as a child. How could she suddenly appear after so many years and take everything that belonged to me? Everything I want, I have taken from Isabella since childhood. Michael would be no exception.'

She had loved Michael for over a decade, obsessed and secretly in love. If she couldn't have him, she wouldn't even want to live.

Suddenly, a flash of determination appeared in Bianca's eyes as she thought of a way to strike back at Isabella.

She quickly took out her phone and dialed a number, thinking, 'Michael, I'll make you see who truly loves you.'

When she exposed Isabella's true nature, Michael would realize what kind of person Isabella really was.

After hanging up, Bianca returned to her room.

Late at night, she sneaked out through the window.
