Chapter 75
"Isabella, you're finally about to be single again. Why do you keep staying alone at the hotel? How about..." Olivia gave Isabella's strap a playful tug and grinned mischievously. "Let's go out and have some fun. Consider it an early celebration."
Where they were headed was clear from Olivia's outfit.
But Isabella was too exhausted. She had drunk too much earlier and was barely holding it together to speak coherently. So she really didn't have the strength to go to the nightclub till dawn.
However, Olivia's eager gaze made it hard for Isabella to refuse directly.
She found a passable excuse. "It's too late, and I didn't bring a change of clothes. There's no way to do my makeup here. How about we go another day?"
She was so dizzy she just wanted to collapse into bed.
But she underestimated Olivia's determination. Hearing Isabella mention she had no clothes, Olivia raised an eyebrow and called out, "Bring it in."
As soon as she finished speaking, Jesse walked in with a small suitcase.
Isabella glanced at Jesse, wondering whose side he was on.
Jesse didn't dare look up, dropped off the suitcase, and quickly left.
Watching Olivia open the suitcase to reveal a full set of makeup and a sizzling hot mini dress, Isabella felt a headache coming on.
Olivia had solved all her problems and didn't seem likely to give her a chance to back out, as she had even brought the stuff with her.
After a quick face wash, Isabella was seated in front of the makeup mirror by Olivia.
Olivia expertly applied her makeup, using everything to make her look as seductive as possible. With a final touch of red lipstick, they headed straight to the most luxurious nightclub in Evergreen City.
At Lightning Speed, both women were stunning, drawing eyes as they walked in.
Colorful lights swirled overhead, and the heavy metal music pounded into their brains. Men and women in the dance floor moved freely to the rhythm.
A tall man in a shirt and slacks stood out among them, his graceful movements captivating everyone.
At the bar, Bianca, in a light pink spaghetti strap dress, stared intently at the tall man in the dance floor, and her eyes sparkled.
She had known Michael for so long, but she never knew he was so talented at dancing.
He danced so well that people were gathering around him.
She had come to the nightclub to vent after Michael's harsh words, but unexpectedly ran into him.
She had always maintained a pure image in front of Michael. If he found out she was at a nightclub, all her efforts to maintain that facade would be exposed.
As Bianca hesitated, two striking figures entered the nightclub.
Both were tall, with alluring figures, wearing skimpy spaghetti strap mini dresses, and their seductive makeup made hearts race.
Realizing the one in the back looked so familiar, Bianca took a closer look, and found it was Isabella.
She couldn't help but curse in her head, 'That bitch Isabella must have found out Michael is here and follow him to create a "chance" encounter. She has sworn to divorce Michael during the day, and now she is here to seduce him. No wonder Michael can't let her go. These are all her schemes and tricks. I won't let her have Michael.'
Isabella followed Olivia inside. As she re-entered the familiar environment and music, she felt strange.
She realized she hadn't been to a place like this in a long time.
Since marrying Michael, she had cut ties with her old self.
In three years of marriage, she hadn't even been to a bar, let alone a nightclub.
Olivia naturally swayed to the music beside her, whispering in Isabella's ear, "You used to be the hottest nightclub queen here. Dancing, playing cards, singing-you were the best at all of them. It's all Michael's fault for locking you up."
"Now you're finally going to be single again. Let's party hard tonight, and tomorrow you can divorce Michael. After that, we can come here every day without anyone stopping us." Olivia deliberately brought up the past.
She hadn't planned to go out, but Thomas had called her, telling her about Isabella's situation and mood.
She had immediately gotten up, put on makeup, and rushed over.
Since Isabella was determined to leave Michael, it was time for the old Isabella to return.
But Olivia didn't know that from the moment Isabella stepped into the nightclub, a huge change had occurred in her heart.
The alcohol in her system was the perfect catalyst. Tonight, she decided to play hard, to make up for everything she had missed.
She raised an eyebrow at Olivia and gestured towards the bar. "Just dancing is boring. How about a drink first?"
Seeing the light return to Isabella's eyes, Olivia was thrilled and dragged her to a booth.
She generously handed over the drink menu. "Order whatever you want. It's on me tonight."
Isabella smiled and took the menu without hesitation.
She ordered the most expensive and strongest drinks in the house.
Olivia preferred cocktails and didn't like strong liquor, so she ordered a Mojito.
The waiter took the order back to the bar, where Bianca accidentally bumped into him and helped pick up the fallen menu.
When Bianca saw the drinks that had been selected, a flash of triumph crossed her eyes.
She thought, 'Isabella, aren't you the Wilson Family's heiress? This time, I'll make sure you lose all your dignity in front of everyone.'
Soon, the drinks Isabella ordered arrived. Olivia sipped her cocktail, her eyes occasionally glancing at the dance floor.
Isabella took a sip of her drink, the vodka's strong flavor hitting her hard.
It was intense, more so than anything she had drunk at a bar.
Isabella stopped after half a glass, not wanting to get too drunk. When she felt just right, she pulled Olivia into the dance floor.
The atmosphere reached its peak, the lights above flashing faster. Isabella relaxed and moved to the music.
She looked like a glowing red sprite, too sexy to look at directly, as if she belonged there.
Many people stopped to watch her in awe, some recognizing the familiar figure.
"Am I seeing things? Isn't she the once-famous nightclub queen?"
"It's really her. I thought she'd never come back."
"Yeah. She's really back."
The crowd's eyes lit up, shouting at her, "Queen! One more song!"
Suddenly, the lights went out.
Suddenly, the lights went out, and a passionate voice from the stage announced, "Ladies and gentlemen, next up is Lightning Speed's traditional event, the Mystery Three Minutes. Do what you want, seize the moment. The opportunity is in your hands."
