Chapter 92

Isabella was floored by what Austin said. Those two kangaroos were way faster than her, and she had no clue where they went after they got her out.

"I don't know. They vanished after they got me out of the forest. They were too quick for me to keep up," Isabella said. Just then, she caught sight of two bouncing figures out of the corner of her eye.

Her face lit up with excitement as she pointed and waved. "There they are! Hey, Optimus Prime! Megatron!"

Two strong, muscular kangaroos hopped over to them.

Austin's heart swelled with joy as he ran towards his kangaroos.

"This is incredible! My two darlings, I've missed you so much. You're my heroes!" Austin cried, hugging the two kangaroos tightly.

Austin had thought he wouldn't make it, so he decided to let all the animals in the hunting ground go free. He never imagined that the two kangaroos would end up saving Isabella, and indirectly saving him too!

Isabella quickly told Michael how the kangaroos had rescued her after she ran into wild boars in the jungle.

Michael was amazed. These two kangaroos looked different from any others he'd seen.

"They're even more buff than you," Isabella said, nodding towards the two kangaroos.

Michael rolled his eyes. Why did she have to compare him to kangaroos? Sure, his combat skills were top-notch among humans, but he couldn't match up to a kangaroo.

But Michael could see that Isabella really liked those two kangaroos, and an idea popped into his head.

"You must be starving. Someone just brought me some food, and I hadn't had a chance to eat when I heard you were back. Why don't you eat first?" Michael said, leading Isabella to a temporary resting spot.

Isabella nodded. After a day in the jungle, she was starving. Sure, she could've eaten some energy bars, but they were nothing compared to freshly cooked food.

While Isabella was eating, Michael walked over to Austin.

"Mr. Williams, since Isabella is safe, does that mean I'm safe too?" Austin asked respectfully.

After Michael's men surrounded the hunting ground, Austin gleaned Michael's identity from their conversations. He was the most formidable person in the country, someone who could easily end his life!

Michael looked at Austin with a bit of exasperation. Sure, he could display ruthlessness on occasion, like cutting off someone's tongue, but that didn't mean he was a psycho who derived pleasure from senseless killing.

"Since Isabella is fine, you are safe," Michael said, finally giving Austin some relief.

But Michael's next words made Austin's heart race again.

"Do you want to sell these two kangaroos? How about 2 million dollars?" Michael offered. He could tell that Isabella really liked these two kangaroos, so he wanted to buy them to make her happy.

Austin immediately spread his arms protectively in front of the kangaroos. "No way! I've raised them since they were young. They're like family to me!"

Michael furrowed his brow. Since Austin wasn't willing to sell, he wouldn't push it. He figured he could just bring Isabella to visit them often.

But Austin's next words caught Michael completely off guard.

"These kangaroos are like family to me, so if you want them to leave me, you'll have to offer more!" Austin's final remark nearly made Michael burst out laughing.

Even more amusing was the reaction of the kangaroos. They seemed to understand what Austin had said.

At first, they looked bored. But after hearing Austin mention more money, their eyes widened, and their mouths opened, showing their teeth.

Michael blinked, thinking he saw anger on the kangaroos' faces.

The next moment, the kangaroos jumped up and kicked Austin hard.

Austin let out a scream as he flew through the air in an arc, landing in a nearby fence, creating a small crater in the ground. When he got up, he spat out two mouthfuls of dirt.

"Damn it! I raised you all so darn big!" Austin yelled at the kangaroos, clutching his waist as he slowly got up from the ground.

Michael raised an eyebrow. Normally, a person would suffer internal bleeding or even broken bones from such a strong attack by the kangaroos. Yet, Austin seemed to have only minor injuries.

It looked like Austin had taken a beating from those two kangroos a bunch of times, but hey, his ability to bounce back was pretty darn impressive.

The kangaroos' reaction made Michael furrow his brow. He had planned to buy the two kangaroos and take them to the estate, then have professionals take care of them. But they seemed too aggressive. He didn't want his estate staff ending up in the hospital every day.

"Alright, Austin. I'll buy your hunting ground. We'll come here to visit these two kangaroos often. I hope you take good care of them," Michael said. Since Austin had raised the kangaroos for so long, he must have rich experience. It was best to let him continue caring for them.

Austin was thrilled. His hunting ground wasn't making much money, and maintaining the animals and weapons was costly. Now that Michael was willing to take on all these expenses, he was naturally very excited.

"Alright, Mr. Williams. Rest assured, I will definitely take good care of them!" With Austin's assurance, Michael went back to Isabella.

Isabella had already finished her takeout. She was so hungry that she ate quickly and even let out a loud burp after finishing.

Unfortunately, this burp was heard by Michael, who had just come in. Isabella's face flushed with embarrassment, realizing her behavior just now a bit rude.

Michael looked at Isabella's blushing face and smiled. "We're married now! No need for all those silly rules. Just do whatever makes you happy!"

Blushing, Isabella nodded. Suddenly, she remembered something and said, "Didn't you say you wanted to hunt wild boar? Today, those two kangaroos kicked a big wild boar to death in the forest! You should have someone drag it out; there's a lot of meat on it!"
